| | Who dare to customize Yamatos? « Thread Started on Apr 12, 2008, 1:31am » | |
Hi, since I bought my 1/48 Yamato VF-1s two years ago, and joined this forum, never looked a customized Valk this size. I opened my valk but I didnīt applied its decals, in case of a posible custom... and a decent stand...

Do you think a Customized Yamato Valk could lower its value and , worth only for who customize it? Or itīs better to keep them as they are. Maybe, my wrong is considering the Robotech toys always as an investment.
Ca anyone post some custom Yamato VF-1s pics or any ideas in mind?
Thanks.

any toy opened will have its value definitely lowered.
as for customs, i think the value can still go up depending on WHO did the customization and WHAT the customization is.

i did a kakizaki custom (long before yamato released one) and a VF-1S Max..
commissioned somebody to do a Minmay Guard and Enigma custom..
and now working on a custom ARMD launch base and arm..
if you're treating your valk as an investment, then better keep them in the box.. otherwise, take it out of the box, play with it.. and if it doesn't satisfy you yet, do some simple customization.
