 Star Wars Figure/vehicle question
« Thread Started on Jul 17, 2005, 1:45pm »

In Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back, in the scene of the Imperal Procession, there's a charcter there which is among the Imperial Procession. A Red with Red Cape Strom trooper like appearance. What's the official name of this character?

Was the Shuttle Tyrindium? ever re-issued recently like the Millenium Falcon?

Hi Gian,

I think you're referring to the Emperor's royal guard. Red Helmet, red robes with a staff like weapon? If that's the one, yup, that the royal guard.

As for the Shuttle Tyderium. It was released with the Saga Collection. Check my star wars collection pics. I have a vintage shuttle pictured alongside the saga collection re-issue.

Hope this helps.

Hi Gian,

Nope, I haven't seen one lately. Last time I saw it was in Filinvest Alabang earlier this year.

It has a ramp that opens at the bottom but its so narrow that it isn't really possible to fit a figure through there.

There is also a panel on the one side of the shuttle that can be removed to show the interior.

If I see one, I'll let you know.

Thanks garvy!

Btw, you also need an engine exhaust for the Avenger yes? I think it's one of your missing parts if I remember the pics you posted before at the old boards.

Will your Star Wars figs be moving into the Crusader instead of the Millenium Falcon? hehehe!

Sorry, can't help you there. I think the only recourse is to replace the rear flap.

I've got a new question. What scales are the Star Wars vehicles available in? If there are toys available in the right scale, I was thinking of picking up a few to mix it up with my mecha toys.

Chet, I can't give you an exact scale but the average SW figure is usually in the 4.5-4.75 inch range so if your figure falls in that height range then you may want to mix things up.

Along the more or less same scale range are the GI Joe vehicles.

Hope that helps.
