the kakurangers appeared in MMPR but not as earthlings... they were known as the Aquitian Rangers (AKA Alien Rangers, water-dwelling beings from planet Aquitar)
SGP... personally, i prefer the sentai series over PR... I watched both versions and made several comparisons ...but that's just me... there are others who prefer PR...

To each his own. Actually, I don't have any preferences, I just watch whatever is available. Plus, it's a pain to download old stuff since there will be less seeders.

in one episode of wild force, carter a lightspeed ranger, asked cole to join the so-called "red ranger alliance" and he (cole) leaves his teammates (the wild force rangers) behind for a while since he dosent need help from them or from the wild zords even if the megaship is the only zord used from PRIS .

Thats a good way of putting it. I've come across a lot of PR purists or Sentai purists and for me honnestly whatever make sthe viewer happy. Each series has its own good and bad points so lets leave it at that.

I agree. If one can't respect another one's opinion, then the problem starts there.

Hmm, this is how i look it. The Americans should have just dubbed the original Sentai shows. This way, American kids will get to see and appreciate Japan and its culture.

Just my 2 cents.
I like this idea too. If you will notice though, a lot of scenes in PR were taken from snippets of the Sentai equivalent, most of it involving the mecha. I was wondering as well why they had to make it americanized by putting in a majority of american actors and a few ithers representing different races as their cast.
Since it's debut in the US, PR recieved a lot of bad comments from parents, tagging the show as "violent", however kiddie some of us think it is. I don't think the same parents would want to see the Sentai shows, despite Sentai having the same target market as PR. I mean, if they call PR violent, how do you think would they find Sentai.

that is a good suggestion but the prob is that sentai's audience are teens while PR's audience are kids. and i doubt that they will translate the real story behind the green ranger's , time fire's and even shuricanger's fate; ("spoiler" they all die)
while in japan teens can understand these stories but in the US they will stay away from it. they still treated this shows as kids shows and in their point of view death can not be a plot of a story
whats the difference of the US and japanese green ranger anyway?
also, are there good sites that give synopsis/mecha info on each japanese/american sentai show?
Note: Potential Spoiler/s
If you're referring to the very first series of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers vis-a-vis Zyurangers, then here's a few differences:
1. In Zyu, Burai (the Green Ranger) is the older brother of Geki (the Red Ranger), unlike in PR where Tommy, the green ranger, was a student of Angel Grove hat had no blood relation with Jason, the red ranger.
2. The rivalry between the Red and Green ranger in Zyu was more because of Burai's envy of Geki when he was adopted by the King and Queen to be the heir of the throne, in stead of him. It was Burai's will to allie with the enemy. In the PR version, Tommy was placed under a spell.
3. Despite both versions having the green rangers turn good, in Zyu, it was because of Geki's refusal to kill his brother that made Burai cry. It's tears destroyed the sword that made him powerful. In the PR version, Jason destroys the sword, ergo freeing Tommy from evil spell.
4. In Zyu, Burai died, while in the PR version, Tommy just lost his powers.
