It seems disney "altered" some important things from the original. In PR-RPM, speedor and the gang are artificially created. The setting of the show is in the future, where humans live in dome-cities.
The US version of Engine-Oh is called high-octane megazord. The toy of the high-octane zord is a little shorter than DX Engine-Oh. (that is what you get when drinking high-octane fuel)

my favorite pr is from the first release followed by the spd,mystic force and operatiom overdrive the rest was bad looking ;D

from the grapevine, PR RPM will be the "LAST" altered series. If they continue with shinkenger, it would be another over kill.

I also thought that RPM was the final season of Power Rangers, and then, I hear there will be a new series, and it's currently in production. I also heard it will be called Power Rangers: Samurai Path (this is probably their working title).

I couldn't get myself to buy go-onger mechs I just think they're too costly for their design.
But as for these much cheaper RPM versions, I might actually collect them even if they lack the electronics and are somewhat smaller then the sentai versions. :P

the RPM megazords sucks! the engine souls don't do the sounds and are slim. the details are not good either. I saw a review in youtube about the high-octane and comparing to the jap..jap version in better.
