what about old school kits you recommend? i love the rx-79(g) and the ez-8 (although la pa ako ng latter). i love the rx-78 ps2ver w/ added kneeling poseability over ALL kits. the ground type gundams are very nice... good kits... one problem though. theres a flaw in the structure of the leg/hip connector, hindi sya pantay so it appears like one leg is longer than the other. sadly this flaw is present on all ground type gundam kits (the ez8, rx-79(G), and the rgm 79(G)), and its more noticeable on the rgm 79(G). regarding old school, the NT-1 (Alex) is also a good kit... except for the alex armor. its flimsy. almost no locking/docking mechanism for the armor to the gundam. its like wearing a veeeeeerrrryyyy looooossseee sock. but without the armor, ok naman, no problem. the zaku II is also nice, lots of weapons included in the kit. 2 rifles, 2 crackers (grenades), 1 bazooka, 1 axe, and 2 leg missile launchers.

retro ang dating non? maybe they could do a beefed up version of the old school gundams... like what they did with the strike... the strike strongly resembles the rx 78-2, especially when i first laid eyes on it, it was the first thing that came to mind.

I wish they would release a MG of the V2 Gundam. Its really something!
To Jaxom: I also have the V2 Buster! I just converted it to the original V2 since i find the Buster system bulky! I plan to repeaint it and beef it up since its a bootleg too! heheheh!

thats not a flaw - the whole pelvic joint array is supposed to be articulated so you can move the legs' position to accomodate kneeling poses. if they're really that stiff, try adding a VERY SMALL AMOUNT of lubricant (like vick vaporub, etc) i've never had that issue of the chobham armor system - the only complaint i have on the NT-1 itself is how fast the knee articulation loosens up. the zaku II is also nice, lots of weapons included in the kit. 2 rifles, 2 crackers (grenades), 1 bazooka, 1 axe, and 2 leg missile launchers. whats the dreaded thing when building a MG zaku? the conduction cables - lose one and you mess everything up.

bandai sees that the UC timeline is used too much already with various installments (0080, 0083, zeta, ZZ, CA, F91 and V) so they've decided to start a new universe and they havent stopped ever since (G, Wing, Turn A and Seed). so far the cosmic era timeline (Seed) is the "most successful" timeline which means more profits for them. bandai still uses the UC era but they tend to focus more on the OYW-era (ms igloo) and movie compilations of previous installments (like the new zeta gundam movie compilation). also, many novels that took place in the UC era after V ended (UC 0195) werent considered to be animated or put into tv production. hopefully i do really wish that they'd look at the V series for a change. seeeeeeesh. btw... since V Gundam was the last gundam to appear on a UC time line. why did bandai end the UC time line? and do you guys think will be seeing a UC time line gundam in the future?

I bought the Zeta Gundam MG for addition to my MG line. Its ok but I can also tell that its not one of the best kit to have in MG. I just glued the connectors of wing binders to the PC connector. And use the spare hands of the MG wing gundam zero custom, but using the Zeta's white knuckle cover. The wave rider is cool too! I ope Bandai will release a new version, just like the RX-78s. Try also ZZ gundam, not the Full Armor. Its also a cool transformable MG! Although it lacks the internal frames as the other MGs. If you're gunning for the full armor type of ZZ, I suggest you get FAZZ!

yes, another case of good MS design but bad kit. Considering the kit was made in 1995 and was the third MG it is really meant to have such problems. The zeta also has A LOT of seam lines.

HOWEVER, if you watch turn A (one of the last episodes where the evolution of turn A & X is shown) they will show scenes from the orig gundam to zeta to x to wing. that is incontrovertible evidence that all the previous series are part of the same history/ universe/ etc. you only have to see the episodes where they find the gallop, zakus and hy-goggs (were they hy-goggs) to see that all of the series are connected. again, dunno about seed. this shows that all the succeeding series (dunno about seed though cos la pa nga sya at the time) are all part of the same universe, one timeline after the other.
