the last episode was epic! hahaha
the showdown between exia and 0 was kind of symbolic (battle between old and new generation perhaps? XD)
@qb - Yeah, I was also wondering why its called R2??? maybe its a spare unit? like the RX series? or maybe because of its features? like the final strike of exia (it was outputting a lot of GN particles before attacking???) but that was really epic! even if it was a bit "bitin" hahaha

The atmosphere of the last episode reminded me of gundam wing. There is no conclusion. We have to wait for the movie in 2010 to really know what will happen to the characters

The atmosphere of the last episode reminded me of gundam wing. There is no conclusion. We have to wait for the movie in 2010 to really know what will happen to the characters huh? Episode 25 already explained what happened to the characters after the battle that saw the defeat of the A-Laws and Innovators. Wiki already summarized this: In the epilogue, the Federation undergoes reforms as its new president disbands A-Laws and pushes for better global peace; Saji and Louise rekindle their relationship; Allelujah and Marie have left Celestial Being to search for the meaning of their existence; Andrei Smirnov stays in the military to preserve peace like his father and mother; Patrick Colasour and Brigidier-General Kati Mannequin marry; Klaus and Shirin work as politicians in the Federation Assembly; Marina returns with the children to lead a rebuilt Azadistan; Graham Aker is seen visiting Billy Katagiri in his office; Lockon and Setsuna leave with Celestial Being (who are still considered dangerous due to their refusal to disband) to space and Tieria disappears into Veda to watch over the world. It's not your "happily ever after" ending but it's a realistic one. Conflict doesn't end just because you destroyed the current threat. A new one can always emerge setting the stage for a new story.... that's what I'm hoping to see in the movie...

Seems like we still have to wait for the movie, there are still questions that needs to be answered, like how come there are Innovade-look-a-likes all over the world, (Divine/Bring, Ribbons/Healing, Anew w/ glasses, etc), and also there was no scene of Ribbons dying in the 0 Gundam, so there is a slight possiblity of him surviving, not like Alejandro in S1 whereas Ribbons "betrayed" him, so right now all i could think of is...its either going to be answered in the movie, or they'll make a game and show us some clips (like what happened with Neil Dylandy) ;D

as for the movie... my opinion is that they are likely going to explain the origins of the true GN Drives (and perhaps more of Celestial Being as well). There was some mention back in season 1 that the original 5 GN Drives were produced in Jupiter since the planet had the extreme pressure and radiation necessary for its production (please correct me if I'm wrong). Cheers!!!

also take note that ribbons stated that his body is only a "container", in which he may as well be able to switch between multiple clones of himself. though problem is since he's been rejected by veda he'll have to find a solution for that.

After watching the last episode on season 2, I'm surprised that reborn gundam has an alternate mode to bad it's kinda short lived and piloted by ribbons, I wonder how it will come out in hg 1/144...
