just hop over at mechapinoy and check out some threads there. they use some "general use" items for their model works, etc. why heck, some even used armpit containers (rexona, etc) for some very d**n good works...

welcome aboard vlad!! same question here though... PilapZ and tagabukidph- i just bought two spray cans and one dummy gouf for a start.. ehehe ;D awright! ;D we all got to start somewhere. enjoy and happy building. ;D ehehehe... i took my days off last saturday and as well as yesterday too in building and painting a kit. i guess i'll be making a new thread for my collections and as well the ever first gundam kit i have built and painted- but i guess that would be on march or may since i need to buy a good cam.. ;D i started buying a blaze zaku gundam 1/144 for a start and just bought 2 paints- blue and clear for top coat from win but when i tried doing the finishing touches- it was too thick, so i bought a FG 1/144 Dynames and bought a green paint from bosny and as well as a grey primer. i really enjoyed it athough i get some cuts on my fingers and paints too. but i have one quick question- with regards to paneling- what would you advice, thick ones to make it really visible or thin ones?? Thanks really for all the advices sirs and am also very excited to show you my progress.. ehehe

mias: go for thin ones. thick ones make the kit looks "kiddish". qb: dont you mean 1/400? never heard of something scaled at 1/1400. you can check out dalong's 1/400 reviews as he's got some comparisons between all scales: dalong.net/review/etc.htm
