The advantages of limiteds being brought in the country by Bankee is that we can buy them at a cheaper price. NO ARGUMENTS HERE di ba! But sana ung mga bago naman ang dalhin ng Bankee!
And yes, limiteds must be kept LIMITED talaga.

thanks for agreeing with me. i have talked to some collectors in singapore. some do collect due to value and distinction (have a zoids that only a few have). that's the privilege they deserve coz they were there when first released or bought it on the gray market at high prices. but seeing this influx of limiteds mass produced makes them feel frustrated on tomy. some even sold all their rare zoids to move on to other lines! this creates a bad impression on tomy's zoids. Note that the target market for LIMITEDS are the mature/ adult collectors generally. so if tomy keeps doing that, we won't see these people collecting again. sad coz zoid collectors are not that many (compared to other collections). mark

Yup, ok pa sana kung re-issue (just like the TDPs), because at least the pricing is reasonable -- meaning much cheaper than the originals but cost more than a regular kit Pero don sa SL DCS-J, di mo malaman kung ano -- re-issue ba o minass produced??

Lessons we should learn from local releases of LTDs: -if you go off and decide to get an LTD for such a high price abroad, in GT or otherwise, well that's life . . . so be proud of it . . . at least you'll get it earlier than 99.999% of the people sa Pinas . . . and nobody could blame you because there was really no way for you to know weather or not it would be released at such a cheaper price locally in the fututre . . . -but then again . . . good things come to those who wait, so its your call just my 2 sentimos . . . Happy Zoiding! ;D

yeah like ung s.a.l. ko at least i got it beforehand, so only thing i needed to do was get the dcs-J and blue cwolf.
si seven ata nagsabi nung eb natin na "mas madali humanap ng 1 zoid kaysa 2"
sometimes kasi kahit patient ka maghintay, you'll never know kung talagang lalabas, and if u wait too long, baka tumaas ang price. the world goes around and around.

BUT, and this is a BIG BUT, LTDs, in my opinion, should not be re-made and re-released at a cheaper price! That's not a 'limited' anymore. On my end, I'm just a simple collector. As I do not have the luxury of a big budget, the cheaper the kits are, the better. But there comes a time that you want to take your hobby (collection) to a higher level and this is thru the acquisition of LTDs.

i agree with you Rho. Limiteds distinguished a zoids collector from another (aside from customs.). that makes collection a collection. pero if tomy wants to re-run zoids, they can with the REGULAR RELEASE like the gordos or CAS or liger zero, etc.

basta ako ok lang ilabas mga limiteds locally but it should be at the right price hindi ung makabenta lang.
nakakasama ng loob pag nabili mo na tapos may labas na mas mura.
well that's life just have to live with it.
the only consolation is you got the limited item way before everybody does.
