@ raps Thanks! Anyway, I may get back to GFF's after this. But my next is this one: I haven't been paying attention to this guy for the longest time. Up to now, he still doesn't have his shield, weapons, and decals. A little more assembly and a topcoat should do the trick. what type of blue did you use for this kit amigo? is it tamiya light blue?

PilapZI used Tamiya Blue, Sky Blue and a tincture of Tamiya Red. Pardon me since I forgot the ratios. I just mix them all up and compare it to the manual's pictures.

PilapZThanks dude V2Thanks also! That GFF is a keeper. As they say in the other collectors' forums "In the event of a fire (God Forbid), I'd save this one, run for my life and just weep for the rest" hehehe The planes are in 1/72 scale. The ones with black stands are from Hobbymaster and the ones with clear stands are from Century Wings. Love the Century Wings Tomcats, they are simply the best reproductions of the real thing. Another addition to my Jolly Rogers "Skull Squadron" The whole group From right to left: F-4J Phantom - 1970's Vietnam War F-14B Tomcat - 2004, Iraq Operation Enduring Freedom VF-1S Valkyrie - 2009, First Space War (what? )

@ RainerO and qb Thanks bros V2advanced, meaning those newer technology ones? Valkyries would fit the bill, but those Yamatos would burn a hole through my pocket! Most manufacturers tend to concentrate on older aircraft with significant historical value (those flown by aces, famous people etc). Also more modern jets like the F-22 and F-35 only come in dull, boring grey. Compare that with a livery such as this: Just gotta love the artistry that goes into it

naaah i'm referring to the F-22, flankers, rafales and the like...
those artworks on the "ita-planes", are they decals or tampo prints?

They're tampo printed so no worries of dried, cracked decals falling off ... ;D ahhh... well I do have one Su-27 Flanker: But it's just the baseline version. I'd like to get more advanced versions such as this one: www.diecastace.com/review_gaincorp_8011.htmlDownside is most of them are hard to find nowadays. The F-22 Raptor by Hobbymaster is out already: www.hobbymastercollector.com/HA2801F-22Langley27th.htmlI'm just waiting for the second issue for the F-22 since the first model still has too many flaws (hopefully they get the second one right) As for other new aircraft, few or none have made them just yet unfortunately.
