hehe, this is my first time to paint a gundam.. so i got excited on posting the pics.. enweis.. yesterday i bought a Gundam Double X and a MG Zeta Ver. 1. at GT greenhills.. i use my old Gundam Seed Marker on GX.. and i think it turns out bad.. so take a look at a newbies work the head, err i the V part is bad.. the body and torso, maybe i need more experience the arms, panel lines are not that good.. the legs, disaster the wings, i did a litle experement, so it turned out that i damaged the metallic part.. and im too shy to show it to all of you guys.. rear view the weapons.. and here comes the finish product.. i finished it for about... 10-11 hours.. full burst mode, and it looks like freedom ;D we'll how will you rate my first newbie piece?? next one is my and i dont have plans on painting this one.. i need more practice!!

Hey, don't feel bad. You actually started out better than I did when I painted my first kit. Yours look much better and if you could just see my first painted kit, you'll be more proud of your work.
And bro, why didn't you get the version 2.0 of the MG Zeta? Why version 1?

everybody starts from making mistakes. nobody's perfect.
as JQ mentioned, why go for ver.1? its gonna give you a big headache.

hey, don't feel bad on your mistakes... just learn from it. experience is the best teacher is what they say. so next time, you can avoid those so-called 'mistakes'.
and btw, it's not a bad job. it's a newbie's job. remember, all pro-modellers started with mistakes too. good luck on your MG Zeta.

the hobby japan seed msv book you got there is a "mook" (model book) - a compilation of pics of various model kits (scratchbuilt & modified) of various Seed-MSV (mobile suit variations) that was shown in previous hobby japan magazines.
i must say i congratulate you for purchasing quite a "nasty" mook, as its one of the best hobby japan has ever released.
