@shinn really? that's a camera feature? most cameras would've reflected the gold part as simply white but your camera still captured the color.... galeng!

i have a question guys... since i don't paint my kits, what i do is just sand then panel lines then topcoat(flat) then decals and lastly topcoat again with flat... wud u recommend something better? cuz in my experience, when i spray flat coats there's a tendency that if i don't spray the coat right, parang ngkakaroon ng dust? will it be remedied if i spray gloss coat first before applying flat coats? so it wud be like this: sand panel lines topcoat(gloss) decals topcaoat(flat) do u think it wud be better this way? TIA!

i think its better that you put gloss coat first before panel lining. bali, sand-gloss-panel line-gloss-decal-flat.. or sand-gloss-panel line/decal-flat.. akin lang yan. hehe

TIA! i'm sure that you wash it after sanding the kits, right? as for applying the decals on flats... hmmm, i suggest you use gloss coat first before applying the decals. flat topcoats can be used for final coats so it will still be flat even though you use gloss coat earlier. as for your dust concerns, is the dust coming from the spray cans or from the air? if it's from spray cans, be sure to shake it vigorously. or before using it, dip it first on warm water for about 5 minutes, shake it and dip it again. and spray it 5 inches or more away from the kit. if it's dust from air, try other places to spray it.

i think it comes from the can itself.. hehe.. anyways, tnx for the advise.. about the sanding, i do minimal sanding lng nman.. so i don't think it's from there... actually i spray coats directly from the runners.. ehehehe... medyo tamad nga kc ako... tska i'm afraid if i cut out the parts from the runners for spraying, i might end up not knowing the numbers indicating the parts.. kumbaga bka malito ako.. ehehe.. tnx ult!

ah.... what you can do there is either snap-build the kit first so that you know where each part goes and do your painting plan there or build the parts piece by piece and paint along from there. The latter takes longer though. Hehe.
