It's kinda strange buying an OPTICAL MOUSE which, on the average, costs nearly 1k! And what they're selling isn't even over 200php!
Next time they stock up on that item I'm gonna buy one..
Thanks![/glow]

All along I thought that qwek qwek is different from "tok neneng" - and I thought that "tok neneng" is actually spelled as "tok nene"[/glow]

All along I thought that qwek qwek is different from "tok neneng" - and I thought that "tok neneng" is actually spelled as "tok nene"[/glow] before i thot it was simply kwek-kwek. d ko nga alam un tok "neneng" or "nene" nun e. till someone told me it was the same thing. depende siguro where you buy it. or maybe tok "nene" (or neneng) refers to the orange penoys? *shrugs* Here's a lil history of how the small quail eggs end up to be called tokneneng nowadays. During the first few months when the boiled quail eggs made a boom sales esp. in the provinces. Most of the buyers were preschool kids who simply adored eating hard boiled eggs since their parents kept on telling them that eggs are good for a kid's health. When buying, they simply asked " mama pabili po ng PUGO. " Now..... During that same period of time, a new tongue-tied cartoon character was born, named BATUTE!!!. His character was that of a kid who really gives new words out of the older ones. He just can't say EGG or ITLOG... Whatsoever his relatives did they just can't make him pronounce it correctly... the word that always came out of his mouth when asked to say egg was TOKNENENG!!! Because Batute became so popular especially with the preschool kids who doesn't even know how to read nor write, and who associated themselves to Batute, they started asking " Mama pabili po ng TOKNENENG!!!" Now, being good businessmen, the vendors had an idea.... their target population then were kids and to attract more " sukis ", they started calling the quail egg "TOKNENENG." .... and the rest is history. BOW!!! ;D NOTE: Full story can be read in the upcoming book entitled " Mga Walang Kakwenta Kwentang Kuwento Ni Lolo Wingot. " hahaha.... ;D ;D ;D
