bruticusawesome purchase! vintage again. hehe. are they the same as the our childhood toys or are they entirely different? xentaryou could still use the 74 bb to represent the car chase scene in the movie... i'm sure you'll find a deluxe barricade somewhere.

Mines not that much but pretty good find ;D Titanium 3" Movie Megatron and 3" Movie Optimus Prime. I just wish they used this Megatron color scheme on leader class and Voyager figures. Prime is good except for the head sculpt though.

@ V2 Assault/ QB / Rapido: thanks for the compliments, guys!
i'm still undecided whether the quality of the 25th Anniv. Joes is better than the vintage ones.
however, permit me to share some observations (haven't had the time to take them out of the packaging though):
1. in terms of plastic quality, the vintage figures look better. the plastic used in the 25 Anniv Joes look more brittle.
2. the paint job on the 25 Anniv Joes have a matte-type look, instead of the more glossy look of the vintage line.
3. the limbs/body of the 25 Anniv figures are "thinner" overall than their vintage counterparts and may not be able to withstand vigorous play unlike the vintage ones
4. the joints on the 25 Anniv figures look better, and are more "hidden' than in the vintage ones. figures in the new line also have a bendable joint connecting the chest area from the stomach, as well as rotating wrists, so conceivably the new figures can make more realistic battle poses compared with their vintage counterparts.
5. of course, over-all the new line has a more realistic look, and some characters look better in the new line than in their vintage incarnations (scarlett and destro, of course, take top honors)
;D
