from here on , i`ve been fascinated on how good looking the MG version of wing gundam zero custom is. i need some advice from the people who already bought it or from someone who really knows this gundam kit. I like to ask this questions about the kit :
1: is the kit worth buying? 2: what is the main problem of the kit? 3: what do you like about this kit?
Im a new member here in this forums(message board) and im looking forward for your great reply and honest opinions.
thank you very much for the help and reply guys. Really , thanks a lot! =)

1. its worth it IMO, i love the design. 2. I heard it has a problem with handling its rifle. Its hands can't support the weight of the weapon. 3. I like the wings! My only gripe is that the size of the mecha is small in terms of height compared to other gundams. but technically in "reality" its a small Gundam compared to other again in terms of vertical length.

My buddy and I experienced the same problem too, although in my case its from my MG Wing Gundam Ver. KA (they're quite very similar in some areas). I've seen the same prob too from my friend's MG Wing Zero. I think the weight of the beam rifles can be supported by the arms, the problem is the HANDS... It would've been better if Bandai used the MG hands with the insert lock part in the palm for this kit.. You can try swapping hands if some of your gunplas have these MG hands. Though you have to do a little modding in Wing Zero's beam rifle if you want to make the hands lock and hold it with this What my buddy did was he used the hands the 1/100 scale models have (the ones being used by seed and 00 kits). It may hold the beam rifles steadily. Though you might notice its too big for MG Wing Zero (coz the kit itself really is small) Hope you find these small tips useful ;D

Really , thanks a lot! =) guess am qualified to post here as i've built 2 of these kit and another one is in progress... 1. depends. if you're a wing fan, definitely is. on the contrary, if you're a wing basher, you'll never dare touch it. but if you're simply that person who appreciates gundams no matter the universe, this kit is worth a place in your display cabinet... 2. the beauty and ugliness of this kit lies on its wings. beautiful, wickedly beautiful. but if you pose it over and over again, wings will sag and feathers will fall off due to lack of locking mechanism (pun unintended). as with the buster rifles, it can be solved by tightening the grip with a little thin cement at the joints of the fingers without totally making the fingers permanently posed... 3. the build. the details. the wings. the size. everything! perfect grade with the same problem? hmm... much worse, i may say... posability is poor no thanks for the overly gigantic wings hehe... mg wing gundam zero anytime for me...

lordjohni don't think so bro.. PGs hands are well articulated and fit enough to hold their weapons... MG Wing Zero Custom is my first MG kit when i started collecting Gundams since 2005... it comes with 2 sets of hands.. 1 pair of white hands and 1 pair of gray hands.. the design of the MS itself and given a fact that its an MG kit.. makes this gundam worth every peny.. the hand problem is just a minor flaw of this kit.. IMO even the wings of the MG WZC has a better design compared to the PG WZC.. though sometimes the "rubber feathers" tends to fall down easily when doing extreme poses.. here's dalong's review for both the MG and PG Wing Zero Custom.. hope this helps you on your decision... dalong.net/review/mg/m75/m75_p.htmdalong.net/review/pg/p05/p05_p.htm

I'd have to agree with xentar . PG hands are very good. Here's a good pic on what you'll be expecting in the PG ver. when it holds the twin beam rifles (I just google-searched it ;D) And yeah, I'd also have to say MG WZC's wings have better design than the PG ver. But, the PG WZC's whole body is much more better than the MG (well, I guess that's pretty obvious.. it wouldn't be called "Perfect Grade" if it wasn't ) and that's what I love in the PG ver kit Quite an enjoyable experience in posing the PG ver hehehe ;D And I guess the problems for the wings can easily be dealt with

Thank you for your great replies SIRs intohimo , tagabukidph , xentar. actually am i big fan of this kit ever since i bought the 1/144 scale model. last year( 2008) i bought 2 MGs which i prefer to be my favorite from the gundam seed destiny series , the MG strike freedom(normal) and Mg destiny(normal). Those 2 kits were awesome . but i think there is something missing from my favorite gundam models and i know that that is the wing gundam zero custom. i may have a doubt at first but i guest people here in this proboard are very very helpful and im happy to be a part of it THANK YOU ! =) thanks for the future replies =)

LOL ;D lordjohn and mac, looking forward to your MG WZC!

whoah essay type!! hehehe!! 1: is the kit worth buying? - for me yes. i have both MG, ver. ka and the zero custom. the design of the kit really stands out in my opinion.. the ver. ka, for its unique design of the wing and for the elegant wing custom for its angelic type wing.. and also...girls really dig the wing custom type hehehe!!!
2: what is the main problem of the kit? - as the others mentioned..making it hold the rifle can be a pain... as for the weight of the wings just a minor problem that can be tolerated.
3: what do you like about this kit? the design.... and the WZC is sooooooo photogenic!!!
hehehe!! better late than never!!
