here's ZZ..I'm glad I found this again..I thought I lost it already..hehe..this is MG ZZ and I have this the same year as I got my God Gundam..it has some screws in the leg in order to do the transformation..not much detailing needed but you DO need to put candy color green for the transparent parts. if you have this kit already then you probably know what's wrong and what's hard to this kit..this one holding the gun..yeah it's quite heavy but the hand still manages to hold it steadily though the arm tends to fall due to the weight.. here's the 2 parts of the G-Fortress..don't know what they're called though..unfortunately, it only has one core fighter that can turn back into a plane so the lower part needs the fighter to be in and the blocked fighter in the upper part..the G-ortress is very nice and well anime accurate..it also has landing gears so displaying it in plane mode isn't a pain.. this is the whole G-Fortress and the core fighter disengaged.. here's the double hyper beam sabers..can't call it "beam saber" since it's pretty huge..in Gundam Musou 2 the plasmas are actually thin unlike the one that comes with the kit which is thick.. here's a height comparison between DX and ZZ..Now I know why ZZ the Gundam musou's pretty big than the other suits available..

@mr.bonus: it's a mess up actually..I tighten the screws on the leg to much that it can't slide properly..hehe RainerO: it's not really neat if you'll see it actually..it has tons of yellowing due to being kept for years..and I used a drawing pen 0.1 to detail the kit before and not the actual gundam fine pen so it's panel lines are very dark..hehehe anyways..tnx for the comments guys^^ I appreciate it so much..^-^

Gundam ZZ definitely needs a ver. 2 treatment.... compare your G-fortress to your G-falcon it has the same length... or perhaps the G-fortress wins a few inches...

well the G-Falcon is just a carrier and support vehicle and not a MS so it's normal to have a model big enough to carry an MS itself(that's how long it is)....G-Fortress is a means to the ZZ in order for the MS to have greater mobility with only 1 pilot though I expect controlling the whole fortress is quite hard for Judau himself..And if ever Bandai give ver.2 to ZZ, I hope the waist can be twisted though I kinda doubt it..
normally in Gundam Musou, Judau starts with the separated ZZ...I suspect the Impulse get the docking sequence from it..hehehe

Time for SRW to be on the stage..and what I mean by "stage"? ofcourse the fairies of the game..they're the only ones dancing anyway..hehe here's the first fairy..Fairlion Type-G(nope not the type-S). I repainted the entire kit(took about 1 hr for the entire model) to get Shine's Fairlion..Princess Shine uses this one since it's obvious by it's color scheme(I was surprised knowing that the colors refer to thier costumes)..This unit can't control the other unit coz it's system is way simplier than the type-S(or so as stated in SRW OG) for shines comfortability.. now for the weapons... Assault Blade: primary close combat weapon of the lion due to its light weight..The lions can easily carry this "semi-saw sword" without loosing balance. Beam Blades: Secondary close combat weapon of Fairlions. These blades are normally used during "Royal Heart Breaker" technique..well I can see dancing as a means of fighting when I first saw the execution..hehe Vostok Laser: Photon Lasers coming from "I don't Know" but they say it's telekenetic type weapon like that of T-Link Sword only with the difference of this weapon being a cannon-type and not sword..(no need for the pics since it's understandable that it's impossible to show) Rolling Cannon: Might as well be called "Hair cannons"..The hair of the fairlion is actually a cannon ..plasma energy that serves are the cannon's main bullets are disengaged from the cannons which is also from an unknown source... Sonic Driver: The most powerful attack of Fairlions..these weapons are originally from Astralion and were just copied to the Fairlions..During "RHB" these drivers become the final striking blow to the enemy giving massive damage.. RHB: to be posted when I get my another Fairlion... Pros: 1. As usual..Game accurate. 2. Very Slender body..the kit really portrays the mechas desgin.. 3. Cute Design..I better thank the designer for giving those cute little girls with cute mechas..^^ Cons: 1. The Joints..why? Kotobukiya sacrificed the polycaped shoulder to give way to the sexiness of the kit..The shoulder can be broken anytime when you move the arms..The beam blades also suffers from plastic connectors making it hard to rotate which may cause the weapon to break.. though the kit is very small compare to the other models..it's still nice to have the fairlions..The small size of it makes the SRW series reality to the toylines..I like Kotobukiya's idea for doing "scale to fit" models..The toys doesn't just look plain..they also look realistic.. THIS is my first time doing a total redo to a kit..I was really nervous that this may come out like crap..I wasn't good at this to tell you the truth..my hands are totally shaking when I hold my spray-gun..But I really wanna portray shine's unit since it'll not be released by kotobukiya..

nice review and info. thanks!
i kinda pity the enemies that was victimized by that final attack wherein the fairlions dance around you while the other slashes you around.

that's the advantage of the twin system they have..and that's where the weapons come in very handy..though Fairlions have very short weapons, it's guaranteed to do extreme damage and nice synchro movements..the mecha design really plays a nice role too during RHB...
I'm really impressed on how Latooni controls the 2 units during RHB while shine watches on her cockpit..
oh yeah one more info regarding the "skirt" of the Fairlion..well if my intuition is correct, it's not just for design and stabilizing purpose..believe me it's because Lat become jealous on Angel-Gs' skirt...if you recall..Ryusei was really unto the angel-gs' skirt the first time he saw it which make lat jealous...so I was thinking that they put the skirt in the Fairlions due to that..

here's my revoltechs in thier di:stage bases..I didn't put the dialogues yet since I don't know what should I write in them.. regarding the di-stage base..it's pretty nice..revoltech scene makers can use these bases as means for putting up anime poses or even do a simple story using the dialogue sticks...it's like toys making manga without even drawing a single character..you can also do the classic style of diorama using this base..it's pretty neat and can hold upto 4 figs in one base(but you should have the stands for the 3 since di-stage comes with only one support stick).. the combination of figma and revoltech is a wonderful way of doing awesome scenes..the clip can also hold busou shinkis for those who want to portait game scenes..it can be expanded as well like the mechanical chain base.. for now since my QB revs are few..I'll just focus on getting some mechanical chain-bases for my SRW..
