I did not really expect much from this Zoid since I was expecting it to be really small and pricey. But I was surprised with the Bio Tyranno and here's why: Out of the box: Cockpit: (kinda reminds me of a submarine hatch which is located on the first vertebrae on the back. The 2nd-3rd vertebra triggers the sound and light action when pushed down) The finished product: Ze good:1. Surprisingly bigger than it looks in the pics...bigger than any medium sized biped dinos. Prolly 3/4 the size of a Goj Giga. I didn't really expect much from this Zoid due to experiences with Bio Megaraptor and Bio Ptera...small box but this time big in contents. 2. Sinister color scheme 3. Sturdier legs (you can easily display this without the stand) 4. Stiffer parts 5. Rib arms or blades can rotate a bit. Ze bad:1. No articulation at the ankles. 2. Rib arns or blades are not too articulated. 3. Faint sound...not as loud as the smaller Bios. 4. Eyes does not light up. Among the Genesis Zoids, this guy is highly underrarted...prolly the sleeper on this line....when I got to build the body...that's when I realized its size. Pictures do not do justice on how big it is...it's longer and bulkier than the Bio Megaraptor...longer and bigger than any Genos and Fury.. At 1.3K...it's worth it IMHO.

The finished product: Ze good:In terms of color schemes...this is prolly one of the best among the Bio Zoids. The wings tend to change in shades in different light conditions. Parts are more stable compared to the megaraptor Ze bad:For a 900petot Zoid it is sooo tiny...soooo not worth its price tag. bear in mind that the light and sound module is NOT within the zoid itself. It is attached to the stand and the light somewhat is relayed to the chest light of the Bio Ptera when attached to it. Just to give you how "puny" it is..check out some comparison and group pics. Smaller than the Storm Sworder Jet It's even smaller than a Dimetra Ptera some Fly Boyz

If I'd had known that she was giving me a Zoid....I would have chosen something else...Bio Ptera was the last thing I wanted as of now.....but oh well...bahala na basta sya ang nagbigay hehehe.

This is what my gf got for me as pasalubong after spending a week or two at her hometown....Space Jam Air Jordan XI and this... GB005 Bio Ptera...she did want to give me a Bio Tyrano and a Deadly Kong but she already spent too much on the Js alone. Bio Ptera made its debut in either ep 21 or 22 in Genesis but its pilot is revealed in ep 23. Like Kotona (Rainbow Jerk Pilot)...this flying Zoid's pilot is female but one of the antagonists. Box: Out of the box: (it's really small, similar to Ray Kong sized and pricey )

Just an added note:
From what I was able to find out din is that utilizing the rotary blades/claws, will throw the Deadly Kong in berserk mode wherein the pilot can't seem to control it. That's also the reason why Garaga isn't using that weapon. Episode 17 pala is where DK unravelled that bandage and destroyed the Bio Raptor force singlehandedly and almost attacked Murasame Liger but somehow Ryuji was able to calm DK down.

really huge kong, kawawa naman dapat pala lagay sa wildlife, may sugat. ;D Hinde naman kawawa...actually the bandage is for hiding the rotary blades...similar to what Vincent (tama ba?) of Ghostfighter or Yu Yu Hakusho does.

The end result: The disappointing thing is that the arms cannot rotate. I can see why this guy is a bit pricey...lots of prepainted parts even the "coffin" : He is beefier than IK The cockpits are also diff..Single seater for DK...Two Seater for IK Lots of spares for an IK varient:

Haven't built mine yet...but I will do so and will be posting some pics...anyway...to know the Zoid, one must also know its pilot. Deadly Kong made its appearance on Episode 5 and it happens to be piloted by Garaga (probably Gallagher in English but only time will tell...). Garaga is the comic relief among the Zoids Genesis character. He happens to have the hots for Kotona (Rainbow jerk pilot). Just like Deadly Kong, Gallagher is physically strong... as he was able to punch through a concrete wall. Just like his DK he has something on his right arm. In the anime, aside from the extra arms and axe. DK can swing just like tarzan swinging from tree to tree...and can also throw objects. You'll see this on Episode 5. Here he is vs the Bio Megaraptor: Under the bandage is a series of rotary blades (this was unveiled when DK went berserk temporarily...forgot what episode though)...this blades will materialize as one of the upcoming CPs.
