you can really see it's chipping? hhhmm it's been gong for almost 2 days now but i haven;t seen any paint being chipped of the plastic yet. . . hhhmm and i thought those "magic colors" i've been using is very easy to romove, for when i am just applying it, it kinda doesn't stick well / cover the area being painted in one brush stroke. . . but then again i've cured it by baking it under the sun for like an hour each day for 2 days hhhmm

I mentioned this in my Collection/WIP thread and in another thread but i'll reiterate. Never use Tamiya Basic Putty to fill large gaps or holes in your kits. It will eat the plastic. I filled the spaces in my FAZZ's feet thinking to make them a bit heavier but ended up with a depression in the tops of the toes. Good thing I was able to fix it. ;D same !@#$ happened to me. . . very traumatic. . . tips i got for this is fill the gaps with chunks of sprues then cover it with tamiya basic putty. make sure it's a thin layer, or else. . .

oh btw, don't ask me what it would look like when done on a gunpla, haven't gone to that part of the sanding yet, am still at the stage removing the sprue marks with a sharp blade, and smoothing it of with 600 to 100 grit abbrassives. but i know for sure those i mentioned above would give you a smooth and even finish, no visible scratches. cause been doing that preping up heatsink for compute processors. we call that lapping, have to have a smooth and flat finish on the heatsink in contact ith the processors die so as to have the best thermal conductivity. . . and yes am a little bit O.T.
