Sa mga Gundam fans ano mas gugustohin niyo UC or the CE? yung lumang Gundam na gawa pa ni Tomino o yung bagong Gundam na hanggang Gundam Seed Astray?
Sa akin mas gugustohin ko yung UC era kasi dun nagsimula lahat ng evolution ng Gundam at dun nakita yung pinaka unang hero ng Gundam na si Amuro Ray and the first Gundam of the Earth Federation ang famous na RX line series ng Gundam. Tapos marami pang sumunod sa yapak niya katulad ni Kamille Bidan and then Judau Ashta then the others hanggang sa mag end ang UC era. Sa Seed well di ko pa siya napapanuod eh still have no clue on Seed and the CE era kaya stick muna ako sa UC hehehe.

Universal Century, because it(OYW, Gundam Z) is the basis of all gundam series made after it. Series made in the UC have great storylines, great MS/MA designs and great characters. I couldn't say the same about the Gundam ZZ series. Although it has a wide array of nice MS, it lacks the serious atmosphere found in OYW and Gundam Z.
What I've liked about Gundam Seed were the side stories. The MSes in Gundam Seed Astray were so unique and mouth watering (Astray Red Frame + katana = teh win). That's why the PG Strike looked so awesome with it's Astrayish structure.

hmmm sa tingin niyo ba overpowered ang mga Gundams sa CE compare to UC? kasi ang nakikita ko sa UC MS and machine gun + beam saber + beam rifle ok n MS na tawag.
tapos pag dating naman sa CE medyo overpowered na talaga yung mga MS and Gundams katulad ng mas malalakas na beam rifles parang kamehamewave na nga yung tira eh hehehe.

Of course they are, and so are the MSes in other Alternate Universes.
Any MS in Wing, Seed and G would own anything in the UC (even God Haro). That is why Alternate Universes are created, to create their own set of rules of the things to be made and done. UC series follow the more semi-realistic route while AUs follow the semi-Super Robot route.
As you can see, AUs and UCs are created as two different entities, so they are always separated in discussions concerning about the series' technology. Now we can safely say that MSes in Seed are powerful but not overpowered when compared with other Alternate Universes.

Strorywise, I like the UC because of its dark nature.. Pretty weird by I like it. When it comes to evrything else, definitely the CE! Strike rules!  |

Gundam Seed ended approximately 2 years ago. Its sequel, Gundam Seed Destiny is up to episode 42 as of this time. ;D
