GSD ep 42 You know the drill here's the gist
Marue releases Mwu with a Sky Grasper Since they are going out to war there is no sense carrying prisoners (similar to what happened to Dearka). Athrun Goes to the Bridge to try and help out with CIC. Tells MeyLin to leave the Archangel as well but whe refused to do so. Archangel Launches.Murasame units protecting Cagalli gets killed by Destiny. Cagalli duels Destiny. Shin fires all his beam weapons but are reflected back at him. He then realizes that they don't work and started using beam blades. Slices Akatsuki's Shield with saber and throws beam boomerang. Left arm gets cut off Shin throws another Boomerang. Cagalli being a novice pilot does not know how to react, one it comming back the other is approaching her in front. Minerva detects 2 unknown mobile suits approaching. (You have guessed it) SF and IF.
SF quickly goes off to rescue Cagalli(TM Revolution Vestige playing in the background). Shoots both boomerangs with hip cannons. (Loved the look on Shin's face here) Shin says "Freedom?? Why? How?! (Rough translation). Kira informs Marue that Lacus is piloting IF and is going to land. SF and Destiny locked in melee combat. Minerva informed that their side is losing. Minerva approaches and is met by Archangel. Drop Pod well drops from space. It's the DOM's.
DOM's sweep the battlefield with their "Jet Stream Attack" a homage to the Original DOM Aces the Black Tri Stars. Lacus speaks with Athrun. Athrun still unsure of what he is fighting for. Archangel and Minerva in fierce fighting. SF and Destiny duel continues. Kira goes on Seed mode and Butterfly returns Destiny's sword. (more on this at the bottom) and fires his hip cannons. Rey informs Glady's that Shin is in trouble. Cagalli returns to the capital to personally oversee the interogation of yuna. Cagalli punches him and asks him of Djibril's where abouts. Yuna says he really does not know. Shin goes on Seed mode. SF unable to hit him with rifle. Rey tells Shin that his power is low. Shins escapes Kira lets him go. Kira then Helps out the defense of ORB. Archangel almost gets hit by 2 missiles but is saved by Mwu la Flaga I mean Neo, well you know what I mean  . Maybe he regained his memory? Shin and Rey launches. They did not allow Luna to join in as she may only hinder them. Kira detects the 2 units. After a bit of PEP talk and numerous flashbacks Athrun Finally launches. END
Butterfly Return Technique - It is said that most 2 handed sword style (samurai) can be predicted and with the right state of mind (ZEN) or in this case SEED, can be caught like a floating butterfly.
DOM's are Great! their bazooka also have beam cannons mounted at the bottom. Similar to Old DOM's of another G. universe they also hover on to the battlefield.
Kira still does not desire to kill Shin inspite of what he has done. Kira only shoots him with rail cannons (not beam apparently but looks like it) and not his chest mounted multi phase beam cannon that would have killed Shin. He also let him escape when he was low on power unlike what shin did when the Freedom was destroyed. No Dragoon use he either (maybe they only work in space???)
Another thing I wanted to point out was the Golden SFreedom parts. They seem to be anti beam coated ...
Similar to Shin Destiny also fuels on Rage. It eats power too rapidly and having a Ultracompact hyper-deuterion nuclear reactor did not help it's energy efficiency.
Destiny was previously just a Impulse Gundam Back Pack add on but was not implemented since it eats up too much energy to be combat efficient Don't believe me? check out the link en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ZGMF-X56S_Impulse_Gundam#ZGMF-X56S.2F.CE.B8_Destiny_Impulse
Look for Destiny Impulse.
I also didn't notice Sai (previews Archangel crew) and now word of him. He did not die from what I remember. Maybe he's a part of the Moon EAF just a hunch

Did you guys see how the Strike Freedom caught the Destiny's Anti-ship Sword? That scene made a lot of statement for Kira! ;D It even stunned Shinn!  |

The Strike Freedom and Kira did pretty well in their first encounter with the Destiny. I wonder how the Infinite Justice and Athrun do against Shinn and Destiny?  |

Yup remember Voltes V with Steve and Big Bert teaching him this technique.. yeah i remember that episode, big bert used steve's gun and steve uses two rocks to catch the bullet, and that's when he finally nailed. i think a similar thing also happened in daimos? |
