not everyone hates shinn, i kinda like him and his egoistic attitude. some people cannot believe that shinn can really beat the hell out of kira but actually he did. and how did he do it? it is called brains and motivation.

shinn is good. i'll give him props for being able to beat so many odds already. the latest of which is athrun (altho athrun sucks the whole series anyway).
as for his battle with kira, i was impressed with the way he was able to use kira's weakness and the impulse's abilities to his advantage. if kira wanted to kill, yes it would've been another story. but then, that's the way kira fights and i wouldn't have it any other way... just too bad he lost in the end...
i don't like shinn's arrogance and attitude... but then, he was designed to be camille-like... i believe he will turn in the end and try to redeem himself. will he die? maybe. or maybe be like camille and turn into a vegetable...
rey will most prob die, especially if he becomes the final boss...

shinn should've been dead, there are numerous times wherein kira had the chance to strike shinn's cockpit. kira won that battle three times over. but matter of the fact is, shinn is alive and kira didn't kill him, and with that shinn used that against him, thus the outcome was with shinn's strategy and tactics.

Why we Hate Shin - Whinny - Easily influenced (specially by Rey and Durrindal) - Simply takes orders like a mobile doll - Stupid (blames Kira for Stellar's death) Case in point he was the one that sliced open the cockpit. If he hadn't done that Stellar could have survived since Kira only attacked the upper torso (cockpit is on the bottom). Kira had no choice but to strike the Destroy since it's about to open up it's cannons on Shin. Let's face it Stellar had to die, even if they rescued her she cannot survive without the drugs that the Extended use  . - The japanese have a thing they call honor ;D Gundams mimic their Samurai Culture. - Not showing respect to Athrun (the guys a hero for pete's sake) - Smirk on his face while planning his fight with Freedom (seething anger ensues  ) Feel free to add more ;D I'm gonna start a club ;D Why Impulse Won - Kira has been Fighting for a while before they fought (fatigued) - Kira is trying to get back and help the Archangel - Shin and Rey has planned this confrontation and is only taking advantage of the situation. - Kira not wanting a fight and is only defending himself. - Shin Basically used more than 1 MS since he has already totaled the impulse |

Shin Basically used more than 1 MS since he has already totaled the impulse - well, it was how impulse was designed to be, and shinn should get credit for using it well |

- be that as it may. Killing more people and causing chaos isn't exactly gonna bring his dead loved one's back. - Difficulty following athrun's orders but as for Rey and The Chairman's they were all followed. Sure he cried and contemplated a bit but the orders were followed. - Yeah he didn't know it was Stellar. But doing so contributed to her death and Kira shouldn't be blamed. Well he could have just let the Destroy Blast Him.  - He's just a jerk. That's why we love to hate him. Athrun is too under rated on this one. Maybe he hasn't found the reason for fighting. I too hope that changes. - If Kira wanted to Kill him he could have just sabered him when he ejected into the core flyer but instead Kira just blocks the flyer and gets knocked over giving Shin time to merge into a new unit. who the hell is shinn? hehe... actually indi ako mka-relate kc i haven't watched any gundam movies except for the endless waltz... naintriga 2loy ako sa movie na seed destiny... actually nag-ddownload ako ngyn sa net ng gundam seed series... ilang episodes ba un? would it be ok to skip and watch seed destiny na? or pareho lang un? la lang...

Gundam Seed has 50 eps. You shouldwatch them all before watching destiny. But there are compiled releases out there. |
