If you removed the MG WVK's antennae every time you turn it into Bird Mode, that would introduce one other flaw in the kit---the antennae are too d**n loose!

EMSiA RX-178:

Pro: Very posable! It's got better articulation than the MG RX-178! It's got that double-jointed elbow and knees. The trigger-finger hand clasps the gun and bazooka very well with the trigger finger actually on the trigger.

Cons: Very light! Since it's very light, there's no center of gravity to weigh it down when you're posing it. Comparing it to an AMSiA, (and the kahen senshi Zeta), the RX-178 EMSiA is smaller.

Have you ever considered putting some glad wrap on the ball joint of the hips? I heard this tip from one of my other friends and somehow it works when stiffening the joints when they get loose.

You might risk damaging the ball joint parts if you try it that way. you should prevent over posing so the joints will remain good as new. Although there are some cases that they become loose overtime for some unknown reason.
