Hmm... pero I doubt if they'll really change the mold para lang doon. Yung MG Zeta ko kasi na may special coating (20th aniv version) pero ganoon pa rin yung pagka-cast. Pero it would be good kung ganoon nga gawin nila para naman justified yung price.

If the case will be like what lonewolf said, I say its worth the price since little effort will be given in the assembly. If the mold will be like that of the original MG Freedom, its indeed expensive and the task of building it will be really time consuming!

This process started with the Hyaku Shiki, God and Master Gundam Gold versions. The old MG's used the old system so di ganon ka pricey



notice that the sprunes are connected at the back so as not to damage the gold coat when the parts are cut..

I say its worth the price for an MG but like I said before, the Impulse is too much! Its not even an MG!

Target market for these are non modellers. Any modelers can just paint it to achieve the same effect.

never knew that.

but you are right. painting can achieve that effect (if you are into the glossy metallic look).

personally, i go for the flat/ ceramic look. either i spray paint the correct or closest color i can find or spray a clear lacquer for hard to find colors (like on the zeong, zeta a1).
