the story goes like this: supposedly i was planning on getting the S because initially i couldnt get enough of all the S' forms (i got the GFF and HGUC version already), but i wanted something bigger. a friend who needed financial help offered me his unopened S for 3.5k and as a bonus i get the a ZZ core fighter. being a sucker for core fighters, i accepted the offer - unfortunately another friend offered me a GFF Deep Striker for 3.5k, which is a definite steal because it would eventually cost around 4.5-5k. when the DP first came out i was shocked at the price and eventually i strictly set my limits on getting it on one condition: - if it is second owned the depreciation must be around 1.5kobviously, it was a jackpot (tolerable damage on the box and the figure is still "wired to the trays and still "smells fresh"). as i was driving like crazy for joy eager to open the thing and "free" it off the box. now having owned another delicious S gundam variant, i was stuck in the situation wherein i have an MG S gundam already on pickup status. i decided to have the kit be fixed pose in their respective MA modes: G-core, G-Attacker and G-Bomber. this new plan however, did not push through since i was enlightened with information on the MG S' durability and fragility issues. besides, i finally realized that i liked the core fighter only, as the attacker and bomber components looked rather odd. www.1999.co.jp/dbimages/user/hobby/itbig/10027748a3.jpgwww.1999.co.jp/dbimages/user/hobby/itbig/10027748a2.jpgso i finally decided to sell it off at 3k - since i know that some shops lowest price would be 3.3k. besides, i kept the core fighter array and im quite please on how it all went. wrapping it all up i wouldnt see this as a sad story - it is infact a happy ending. the buyer got a steal on that S, i got another core fighter and my money back and i got what i really wanted. as happy endings are meant to be happy, i encountered a new problem: connecting the deep striker altogether. tsk tsk. ***Protoform: Hi V2, I had to edit your post. What about the Metal Materials? If you decide to sell for example, an MMGQ Force Impulse? What factors do we need to consider?

thats a totally different scenario considering they're more of toys rather than models.
i'd say the pricing for reselling depends on the condition of the item - mib, misb, etc.
