Nagtataka ko kung san galing ang mga Bendi kits na nakikita ko sa mga friendly neighborhood store (a.k.a. tiangge)? Also may official site ba sila? hehehe just curious lang. any reviews or what so ever about Bendi the bendible kits? hehehe ;D

Normally they will take the Bandai Kits, and re-cast them into most of the time...lousy plastics. And because they are recast, there are lots of flashes and fitting issues. In short, low quality than the original Bandai Kits. Website? I don't think so, else they can be traced by Bandai and sue their @sses off. ;D ;D ;D

bendi kits are usually good for kitbashes, experiments and replacement parts only. as a whole kit dont ever expect that it'll be at par with bandai's quality.

if you're lucky, the kit will stay together! I managed to assemble a Dom Troopen and an orange Bawoo na ben di kit. None of the 1/44 Endless waltz stayed together. The 1/44 providence gundam had "wrong parts". Unless you're getting them really really really cheap, they're good for spare parts only.
They're not in any way near to the quality of the real ones.

Good for practicing and spare parts only! ;D You can use it to try out experiments on modelling! I know I did!

Its time for the bootleg king to step in.... ;D
OKay... Here I go.. *takes a deep breath*
Bendi, the most well known bootlegger of gundam kits. Based somewhere in China, the company has been around for quite sometime now.. Id estimate the company's age to around 15 years...
they produce very cheap but quite low quality kits ranging from HGUC to the current gundam line (GseedDestiny).
bendi kits are made from mid-quality recycled plastic.. this is the reason for them being not color accurate to the original.. also since bendi cant duplicate bandai's patented Multi-color sprue technology, some parts end up being the same color as all the other parts...
these kits are good for novice modellers to high end kitbashers.. for novices theyre good for practice but for kitbashers and advanced modellers theyre quite a challenge...
Here are the pros and cons of a bendi kit..
The good: they are CHEAP... most bendi kits cost 1/5 the the price of the original.
the bad: plastic quality is BAD... sometimes even VERY BAD for somekits..
the ugly: Parts fit is HORRIBLE. COLORS are Psychedelik most of the times. DECALS ere AS* UGLY.
if you can live with the bad things these kits come with i recommend you get some right now...
"But Jaxom, WHERE CAN I GET BENDI KITS?" bendi kits are redily available in Tsiangges and cheap toy stores... some hobby shops also have them on stock.. But the best place to get them is from the source... No, I dont mean China... Go to DIVISORIA!!! With some skill and patience you can get the kit you want for a very low price.. and most of the times there's even a discount if you know how to barter right...

Question, just how bad is the quality of the plastic ng mga Bendi kits? Ito ba yung tipong brittle at may mga parts na hindi fully casted? ABS plastic rin ba yung ginagamit nila sa inner frames ng MG bootlegs nila or normal plastic rin?

ABS plastic rin ba yung ginagamit nila sa inner frames ng MG bootlegs nila or normal plastic rin? brittle ung small parts and pegs... also some parts are not fully casted... as in minsan ung ibang parts nya parang tunaw na plastic lang.. all parts nila is normal plastic.

Its highly recomended that you practice the "snap-fitting" method in botlegs. That way, you can see what parts need to be trimmed down and all. ;D
