I think the 2 latest versions of RX-78-2 are ver. katoki (white box) and the PS2 "OYW" ver. But my personal choice would be the PS2 version which is # 2 in my priority list followed by MG NU gundam.

for the UC line. if you got the budget i'd recommend the FAZZ sentinel version, if not the RX 78-2 OYW version is a very good bet and for non-gundam like i said before the DOM and the ZAKU II F2 EFSF/ZEON version are very good kits. since you have the GOUF CUSTOM hindi ko na sya irerecommend (on a personal note the GOUF CUSTOM is my favortie non-gundam kit and the KAMPFER is next to it).

Kung mayron ikaw na Kampfer how much did you score sa Kampfer mo?

yes i do have the kampfer (but i ain't too proud of it but i am happy about it) i got it for 2900, pero if you were to get one from GT 2500 sya. the fazz would cost you aroung 3500 i think? the RX 78-2 casval version ain't that good, pero ok na lang din kasi sale sya ngayon sa SM (which is 1500), but for the same price i'd really recommend the ZAKU II F2 (sale din sa SM).
so if your going to choose between the kampfer and the FAZZ, masmadali ka makakakuha ng FAZZ, coz madalas magrestock sa GT ng kit na yun unlike the kampfer, rare na talaga yun kit, hirap hanapin.
and the FAZZ is way cooler than the KAMPFER

I got the FAZZ from GT for 3.8k. A very cool kit but very limited posability especially in the upper extremity area. A nice kit to display though. Here's a pic:

Ah, kaya dull looking and all white yung FAZZ its because the kit is still untreated. Meaning, no panel lines and decals still unapplied. On the other hand, I totally agree with HYM's comments regarding FAZZ's posing capability. Almost all of its major joint's range of motion are restricted by those bulky armour add-ons. And speaking of armors... the kit is quite heavy too in comparison with its MG gundam counterparts.

tanong ko lang sa inyo mga bro pano niyo natatanggal yung mga skid marks meaning the one that is left behind when you cut it from its runners. Kasi pag pinuputol ko sa runners nila may naiiwan parang naka usli e ang pangit tignan ginagawa ko nail cutter para matanggal yung usli pero may natitira padin ng konti hmmm how do you remove it?

Kasi pag pinuputol ko sa runners nila may naiiwan parang naka usli e ang pangit tignan ginagawa ko nail cutter para matanggal yung usli pero may natitira padin ng konti hmmm how do you remove it? Stress points kasi yan pag masyadong malapit ang cut mo sa piece using a nail cutter or side cutters. Usually pag nag-cut ka sa "trees" bigyan mo nang konting allowance, then use a knife/cutter to flatten it, this will minimize or totally get rid of the "skid" marks. Kaso kung nagkaroon na, the only way is to sand it down, but you will have another problem, the side that you will sand will no longer have the same "finish" as the other sides of your piece, so you will have to sand the whole piece to have a level finish. It's ok if you're going to paint the kit, pero kung hindi, you don't have any other option. BTW if you're not going to paint your kit, try to use different grit sand papers when sanding down the sprue skids. Start from lower grit like 400 then going up till 1000 or 1200 to have a smooth finish.

Kasi ang tendency niyan is yung nga magkakaleave padin ng marks kailangan as in todo to the max yung pagkasand paper mo para mawala? kasi for the looks of your kit and other kits parang wala siya talagang skid marks eh (not literally sandpaper the whole kit all the way hehehe) haaay im really sucks on this. Maybe i need more practice on making my kit perfectly skid marks free hehehe .... ;D

Maybe i need more practice on making my kit perfectly skid marks free hehehe .... ;D kaya nga kailangan mo nang different grits of sand paper, Don't use only one grit. Dapat, for example, umpisahan mo muna nang 200 grit, pag nag-level na, sundan mo nang 400, then 600 then 800 and finally 1000, or 1200 kung gusto mo. Tapos puede mo ring gamitan nang rubbing compound (hindi alcohol ha ;D) Tamiya plastic rubbing compound para lalong makinis. BTW, basain mo yung sand paper mo habang nag-sasand ka, para hindi maalikabok. This will also help on the finish, kasi yung residue nang sanding, ay nakaka-scratch din dun sa plastic.
