hi guys! i'd like to know if anyone has tips on how to tighten the joints on gundam model kits. this concerns mainly the polycap piece and the plastic peg which will be inserted into it.it's because of this problem that i can't pose the wings of my model correctly.thanks!

Ey, what I do to tighten the caps, I put school glue, not a super glue. Sometimes I use a very thin transparent tape. Also, I use super glue on the ball joints, spread all over the ball and let it dry for minutes. Hope this helps.

the super glue works well for me... you just have to take extra care to it when applying...

chemical: super glue, elmers school glue - apply thinly and await to dry. super glue can cause problems if stuck between two fingers.
non-chemical: a piece of plastic, tissue paper, thin paper - cut a small piece thats not visible when connected to the joint. you can always start with a larger piece and fold it and fit it to the desiered stiffness - not too much, not too loose.

I agree on using elmer's glue for loose joints, coz its non-permanent. Another tip... i put teflon tape (the white tape used to give a good seal to plumbings) to the ball joint coz its not permanent and non messy ;D
Good day ;D

Lighter mo ung male parts nung joints or use pva glue. Try mo replace with ABS joints. Kaso mahal and order basis lang availability.

I'm also having the same problem with my MG Gouf Custom his right arm cant hold the gun pointing straight it falls down slowly because of his heavy gatling shield. Are there any way that can resolve this issue of mine?

yes there is, i used super glue on the LEFT shoulder joint and it does the trick. but be really careful when moving, it will really tighten it.

i used mighty bond. i used it on my gouf custom's left shoulder joint and my blitz's ankle joints and it really does the trick, its neither flimsy nor doing any matrix moves ;D
