1. read the manual THOROUGHLY like studying for a thesis defense or final exams. i strongly advice you study it for a week firsthand, and cram on it for an hour before you start building it.
2. when connecting parts together, check the manual for the proper positioning on how the parts are connected. if you mess up and connect some parts the wrong way, you'll end up breaking some pegs or leaving stress marks on some parts. before moving on to the next step/window, its best to compare the pictures to the actual part you've just finished assembling to check for visual inconsistencies. dont count on instinct, trust the manual and you will be rewarded.
3. if you're familiar with mg kits, it would already give you some "firsthand experience". however, PGs are 5-8 times the difficulty compared to mg kits. so if you dont have that much experience, you should start on some mg kits firsthand just to give u some minor experience. mg nemo is a nice startup kit, the C1/A1/S/Ex-S gundam kits are more complex and would give you better ideas on assembling internals.

thanks for the heads up V2..... i have already assembled 3 MGs palang eh (WZC, MK II ver 2.0, Zaku II) but like what you've said its far more difficult to build a PG lalo na yung mga wirings para sa lightings nya...... thanks ulet......

hmmm since you've assembled some mgs already i'd say you're ready, but take it slow, VERY SLOW. if you rush in too fast out of excitement you're gonna mess up something.
the wirings for the mk.II is pretty fair, just know where each part is and study the parts in 3d (all directions, all angles) for inconsistencies when compared to the manual before closing it shut.

yeah. i got the pg zaku. its cheaper though. thanx man! where did you dot your PG Zaku and how much??? is it the red or green one? another question to the Gundam gurus, on building kits, when is the best time to put the panel line and head details??? when the kits is already assembled or disassembled?? or even when it is still attached to the runners? TIA

well it is hard to line it when its still attatched to the runners... i would suggest that you line it when you've finished a particular limb or area - arm, leg, head, torso, foot, knee, thigh, etc.
the titans mk.II pg kit at lil's is a definite steal! go grabe it already!!!

i got the red zaku from happy toys dv. i used to assemble my kits first before i detail. the prob though is that i kinda lost the enthusiams once i see them assembled already. so what i did on my lastest kit was to detach and detail, detach and detail. assembly was the last phase. it worked for me and going forward, i'll build kits that way hope this helps.
