After I saw GFF Shin Musha Gundam... Now I hoped for an MG version of it!!!
and also Knight Gundam that can transform to centaur mode in his late BB series

 It would be better if only Bandai create: "Impulse Gundam MG" plus a "Force, Sword and Blast Silhouette kit" for its Special Version. All in a variation in a big box Just like Strike-Freedom's Full-Burst mode kit. Yun ang astig!  I love to see how more-detailed the Core-Splendor looks. Open-canopy etc. And adding the 1/20 figures of both Shin/Lunamaria Hawke (they both piloting the Impulse) would be a special treat. How's that sound guys? ;D |

Guys question? why is there no Blast impulse 1/144 HG i only see force impulse and sword impulse, why?

hmmm... oo nga ano. even the Gundam SEED HG 1/144 line has no Launcher Strike and Sword Strike. makes me wonder why too.
sometimes i do wish that Bandai release a newsletter or online info in english to explain why 'this' and 'that' is not available or why they decided not to build it. i think it will help out many customers then.
now as to answer 'why' in my own opinion, i guess, the best answer to come up is, maybe that's depend on the demands from the consumers or Bandai suggests to use the accessories that came with the FG 1/144 series and modify it. it will take a lot of work modifying it. but to many customers who's not a pro-modeller, it's a pain.  but to modellers, that's where the fun begins.

waldfeldyou can use the FG blast impulse and launcher/sword strike to get the packs for their HG versions. i think they were banking on the popularity of the different modes and decided that it would cost too much to create those HG kits and not get back on their investment. @no3ljm oops.... i think i just supported your theory there. hehe. @king_Al oh yeah.... I agree.... MG Exia is the way to go! ;D

there are a variety of reasons: one is based on the popularity of the design based on the screentime. take for instance - impulse debuted with the sword silhouette and force was used much more as a general purpose. blast was only shown around 3 times. another one is more of a manufacturing issue - bandai tends to "test" the waters before jumping right in. they tend to release cheaper versions (FG) of a particular design before releasing a higher grade version of it. raw materials are hard to come by yet demand doesnt, after all and companies dont wanna risk having non-moving stocks. last is a tried and tested fact - sword-equipped units are definitely more popular than artillery-type units. im sure bandai already has design plans on HG versions of particular designs, but lets just say there are MORE IMPORTANT kits to consider - like let's say an MG Destiny or Unicorn??? |
