nice! ;D got so lucky that what i'm downloading since yesterday was a subbed already. cool! i just watched it this morning. hehehe.
nice animation. as crisp as Gundam SEED series. as for the story, as usual, it's a mix of both good and bad. but hey, this is just the first episode. i'm sure they don't want to give it all a way, right? looking forward to the next episode. 'tsutzuku...' ;D

I've done watching the first Episode of Gundam OO what can I say ... I like the OP song for L~arc En Ciel. I don't know who sang the Ending Song but its cool. I like the animation more like Full Metal Alchemist style not some large eyes and some colorful clothings like Seed (I'm not a Seed fan anyways) .... The story is something new to the "Gundam Universe" I think that this time lets hope that there will be no stealing Gundams and use it against the enemy like the ones before like MSG0079, 0088 Zeta Gundam. I really like the Kyrios design more like the descendant of Zeta its so cool. I think I'm gonna wait for the second ep. to arrive. Gonna finish this from start to finish. Well I think each Gundam has a mascot and behold we will see the legendary Haro again this time his color was Orange hehehe. Oh and by the I think Gundam OO reminds me of Gundam X hehehe. "We are the Celestial Beings" ..... Just a question how many weeks do we wait for the second episode to arrive? hehehe |

actually the concept of "armed intervention to prevent war" isnt new - its already used by lacus' 3-ships alliance faction (although they never really prevented anything and messed it up worse) in GSD.
from this first episode, they've got a ship, a squad of "tactically state of the art" gundams (and bishounen meisters to pilot them), financial support from high places and an ultimate motive - all it needs is a hawt girl (could the cheongsam girl?) as a muse and its all the same thing.
the question is - where will it go from there? looking forward to the director's work this one and i do hope there wont be recap episodes and excess reuse of animation scenes.
considering the fansubbed version of the first episode (dunno if its a good translation though) came out only in more than a day after the first tv air date (october 6, a saturday), and knowing the "demand" (its gundam!) the fansubs will definitely be available on sunday to monday afterwards.

just watched the subbed version. pretty nice.
the Celestial Being is a contradiction as it represents what it goes against.... force to end violence. it'll be interesting to see exactly how they hope to accomplish this.

though i also agree that somehow this series will be different in a way. no stolen Gundams. no masked man so far. no newtypes/coordinators yet -- though we still don't know yet what's a 'Meister' is. and only four Gundams to show. i'm sure the first Gundam (RX-78-2 ver.Gundam00) that Setsuna saw in the earlier part will have an appearance soon.
now i present to you the 'fifth and unknown' Gundam that looks like RX-78-2 with Gundam00 treatment:

When it premiered there, torrents of the 1st ep are flooding in the torrent sites as around 8pm (Manila time). The one I downloaded didn't come from demonoid.com but from another source. For the sub version, I got a different fansub from the one you got. |

in GS-GSD - any character or MS unit colored in orange gets killed or destroyed... right?
and kyrios has some orange color parts...
