Lets start some little voting, fellow Gundamers... ;D
What Mobile Suit do you think is the best of 'em all when it comes to hand to hand combat?
I go for Gundam 001 Exia.
I have already watched the Gundam 00 series, so far until Episode 11, and it seems that Gundam Exia is "so far" the best Mobile Suit I have ever seen when it comes to hand to hand combat.

 what do you mean "hand to hand" combat? fist? or close range weapons? anyway , God Gundam ,Master Gundam, or Gundam Nataku are my choices...ohh! add the Infinite Justice ;D

Sorry for the "minimal" info about the "hand to hand combat", ninebreaker. Thanks for the correction. :-D
Close Ranged Weapons.. like beam sabers, axes, fists, ball chains, whips, etc.. which in the case of Gundam Exia often uses like his GN Swords and sabers... well with some bit of GN rifle when it is shooting at long range. (is that correct.. GN Rifle?)
Btw, those were great MS's too who can engaged in hand to hand combats, ninebreaker. Great choice! :-D

I'd go with Altron/Nataku, Infinite Justice, Freedom/SF, Wing Zero, God Gundam. But if only one choice to make: Altron Gundam.  vic01 |

I think you mean a mobile suit used for melee combat. As for me the best melee combat mobile suit is the Zaku II. Zaku II has a significant record in the Gundam universe they have countless or numerous victories during the Universal Century One Year War.
For Gundams naman I would choose sympre the grand daddy of all Gundams RX-78-2. My other choices would be Gundam Mk II and Exia. ;D

infinite justice - because it can cut anything down - literally.
(shinn learned that the stupidly hard way)
god would be nice, but heck thats waaaaay too DB-ish that exceeds the real-robot barrier.

I agree with V2 assault god gundam is really great ( reminds me of daimos ) but his comment was also right....... can i pick 3?? hehehe for me i guess.. I.justice the way it pawned destiny 2 times... of cource RX - 78 - 2 and lastly strike freedom, the way it takes down enemies without the casualties. TNX!!!
