I don't know if I missed these from previous posts but would anyone know the release month of RD 0-riser? TIA! It's slated for release on December 27. Releases on the RD line is kinda slow.... so far, they've only just released Cherudim locally... I'm waiting for its release as well.

given that they're both manufactured by bandai, are the gundam line and macross line the same in scale with respect to the pilot's/cockpit area?

I saw one in Toytown Festival Mall last weekend. It had a few QC issues regarding the head (face was deformed) which is why I didn't get it.
Waiting on other stores to have stocks so I can properly choose.

given that they're both manufactured by bandai, are the gundam line and macross line the same in scale with respect to the pilot's/cockpit area? Bandai does Gundams in their most common scales of 1/144, 1/100, 1/60 kits. If you are refering to the Macross Frontier kits, then the answer will be No, since they are in 1/72 scale which is supposed to be much bigger than the 1/100 scale but since the scale difference is only 28 points the sizes doesn't seem to justify. I confirmed the sizes when I looked for a possible kitbash of a F-14 Tomcat cockpit (no luck because it's all decal and not molded plastic) for the VF-25S/F. They can however be compared to the 1/72 scale plane models where you can find speclty parts that could fit the VF-25 and some diorama accessories. This is true with model tanks that come in 1/35 scale and some diorama makers use 1/32 scale figures since specialized figures don't usually come in 1/35 scale. If you are referring to the older Macross kits created by Bandai, yes they are, because those were in 1/100 (and 1/72) so the sizes should be identical. Model scales are not exact science that's why there are discrepancies in measurements.

You're welcome ;D Yup, but I doubt if Bandai did the pilot scale correctly though since they concentrate mostly on the mech. I think the best size comparison will be the Hasegawa Macross kits (I don't know if they have pilots though) since they made those as close to reality rather than the anime. You can get a spare pilot from other 1/100 Gundam kits though Q - Anybody seen this kits around? Does GT have these so called Mode Lock Series kits? www.hlj.com/product/KBYAS-002
