hey guys, here's one question we all want an answer - Are we alone?
well here's my thought. the universe is so vast our solar system is not even a speck of it. it doesnt make sense that are the only intelligent beings out there. its almost a certainty that we are not alone. its just a matter of when are we going to find them.
let the discussion begin...

ooohhh... medyo debatable ang topic na ito ah. ;D
how do i start ba... i don't believe that there's something beyond our universe. all up above us are stars & constellations. what we read about aleins, starships, spaceships, UFOs were just created by man's wild imaginations. remember, God created us to be intelligent. with that scope, kahit ano naiisip natin. we pretend/accept that these things exist. even though, there's no actual evidence that these things really exist. and sometimes, we easily believe in something we see & heard from other people's stories.
in the end, i'm not a religious person, but i think i'll stick with what the bible says.
my 2 centavos.

i don't believe we're alone, and i don't really believe in aliens. but i do believe that they could also be life on other planet, it may may have advance technology than ours, but then again we could be more advance than they are.
just in our planet, scientist have discovered that could also strive on the harshest of environments. the dry heat of the sahara desert, the bitter cold of the arctic, the crushing depths of the ocean, and even near a live underwater volcano where temperatures are above 100 degree celcius.
i believe that there could also be "life" on out there, it may not be humanoid, it might even be "dinosaur" like creatures, or bugs. ;D

my 'what if's?'
if there's life out there... they don't deserve to be discovered by humans... if they have low tech thingys, humans would probably abuse them or conquer them... if they have high technology than ours, they could be watching us right now or preventing us to discover them... if that would be the case... they have such good hearts... unlike ours...
heheh...

OOOhhh... i think someone was watching national geographic last night ;D ;D ;D imho, i believe there is other life forms out there... though one thing id like to put into view, no flames intended or bible war. The bible never said anything about dinosaurs... but we have a lot of bones that were discovered. life will find a way. in the deapest ocean, we though there is no life but there we have bacteria living in the deepest ocean, no light and we have bacteria living in the most acidic solution

yan mahirap kasi, if it's all in the context of science this is possible, pero kung sa context ng religion eh, well depende sa religion, for catholics like myself, it's is not possible. but then again i have free will. ;D what if meron nga ano? i think kung meon man, that would make us earthlings to be united. parang spacenoids vs earthlings ay hindi pala sila united. . . kanya kanya pala, me mga deadma pa. . . ;D

I definitely believe that we are not alone. Remember that most of the galaxies that we saw or are seeing right now are actually hundreds of years older that us. There is a big possibility that there are other beings out there. God created life, not just on Earth. Tayo-tayo lang nagkikita kaya akala natin wala na iba. For all we know, the "Others" know that we exist, they just don't bother making First Contact.

It's in the story of Job. ;D SGP add-on lang. in Genesis kasi di naman specified what animals were created. may mga wild animals din. so if you generalized it, baka kasama na ang Dinosaurs sa wild animals. ;D besides, di naman sinabi sa Genesis ang classifications nang mga animals (i.e. reptiles, mammals, etc.)
my 2 centavos ulit.

and dun sa creation, yung 1 day ni God is not equivalent to 1 day ng tao. it's longer. as in much much longer, so pwedeng on the day that God created the animals he started with big animal like the dinos.
