@sgp and Chaos: its no biggy actually, the management or rather "ANG DAKILANG ANAK NG DIYOS" wants all faculty members (or just me) to have a master's degree by school year 2007-2008. so that's roughly less than 3 years. im assuming that if i don't have a degree by then they might fire me, i dont know?
so here are my options, i'll give the academe industry three more months then i pack my stuff and go to the IT/Engineering Industry and let them screw what i worked for here in the laboratory and let them go to h3ll on the development of their robotics subject that was assigned to me coz im the only mechatronic/robotic guy in the building (as far as i know?).
or i could simply take my master's degree in some school that has absolutely GREAT TEACHERS, their so GREAT alam mo na kagad ang lesson without them teaching you a thing and endure this mockery of an education for two years or less just so you can add a few more letters after your last name such as UBER JAM MSE (master of science in engineering). oh and the thesis for the MA... sheesh their a killer.
so no biggy really. im currently seeking new employment and doing some MA shopping on the net. if i were to take my master's i'd like it to be in UST... lapit lang kasi dito sa FEU.
for someone who's always looking at the bright side (thats me), i sure am pessimistic about this thing. reason: im just tired of studying... i don't wanna study anymore.
i just hope this would be my only gripe for the day? theres a department meeting happenning this 11am (free lunch at least, so at least i got something to look forward to?) and i hope my boss has some good news. sigh

come to think of it, if your the only one handling it, they have to keep you.. though they have other options ... yah... you can let them rot in the lab with them knowing almost nothing about it hehehe ;D

yeah i could do that, im really an asset to them if i don't say so myself? im the ONLY one who can fix/trouble shoot any digital/analog circuits, years of experience fixing those buggers really gave me a talent for it.

Hmmm... I heard about the master's degree thing when I was still in college. Our teachers were required to get them, they were given 3 years to complete it. Anyway, I share your thoughts about studying, it sucks and it's very tiresome. Hope everything will go well with you. SGP
