to twisted: yup cats will often use their retractables on you. we have a cat ryt now named tiger. sobra spoiled nya. TABA! and he has to be approached slowly if you want to pet him or play with him otherwise he'll treat your hand like a scratching post. pero once you get to any cats' chin and start scratching em there, you'll have them in a trance. sobra love ng cats to be caressed around the neck, behind the ears and right under the chin.

Since pagkabata manok lang yung inaalagaan ko. The longest one that lived was around 4 years I guess. Tapos meron akong inampong pusakal; binigyan ko lang ng pagkaain at hindi na umalis sa bahay. ^^; I'm planning to get a Welsh Corgie pero ang hirap makahanap, wala yatang breeders nito dito sa Pinas.

Hmmm.. What about kitty "litters".. ?

I can't get a dog since people in my family hate clean ups.. the closest pet to a dog is a cat.. so i'm asking.. if we keep them indoors (of course we should), would kitty litters be a problem?

As far as I know and based on observations na rin, most cats discard their wastes on soil. I guess dapat may litter box yung pusa kung palaging sa loob lang siya ng bahay.

if your cat has a breed and it needs to be pampered and kept indoors then kitty litters are a must since they can't go outside to dig their own sh*t holes. if its any cat then you can leave em be and they'll clean up after themselves. either way, cats are easy to handle. palit lng ng kitty litters every now and then.

Another question.. if i get a cat now, and a dog later, will i have to sacrifice or give up one of them or can they live together?

If your Dalmatian grew up eating only dog food, you cant force it to eat anything else. I learned that from my uncle.

I have Shih Tzu and a yellow Labrador Retriever....ironically our lab sheds more hair than our Shih Tzu.

Not really. When it was still a pup, I feed him with dog food since it has all the nutrients in it. But after a year, I switched to "left-overs" and he was loving it, he wouldn't touch dog food at that time already. But now, he wouldn't touch left-overs anymore. Weird. Guess dogs do get "bored" with the same food.

For dog lovers, what brand of dog food do you use? I think the one I recently bought was called "Ultima".

Sad to say he's in our house in cavite. Had to bring him there when I moved.
