This is for those who are heavy users of Globe cellphone (lines, prepaids not applicable). Text " REWARDS" to 2279. You will receive a confirmation in regards to the loyalty rewards promo of Globe. Globe will award you a certain amount, depending on your usage and you can use that amount for bill payments, G-cash or for a new cellphone. Only downside is, your current line will be locked for 2 years.  I was able to get a new cellphone from this. ;D SGP |

It will be locked? You mean if I text that number and I am already past my 2 years like now, my plan will be locked for another 2 years?!

I just found out, it depends on the amount, a lower amount will only lock you for 1 year. SGP |

stupid globe service, they said they were giving me a free phone on the condition i switched to higher plan, i did, this month's bill, i'm being charged the phones amount! and i paid for the higher plan charge as well!!  [B) "been contesting it the past few days, no luck yet" |

FYI...the lowest available phone model is worth Php 11500. Um... I think you're mistaken there. I contacted globe and I was informed that you can get a P6,000 phone, the Nokia 2600. ;D SGP |

Also I just found out, if you have more than one line under your name, you can combine the rewards that you get, that is if you decide to get a phone. ;D

Hmmm. Does that mean the plan has to be under your own name? What if the line is named after a relative/family/guardian?
