It is not unusual for old members of hobby boards to move on and do other things. As life hands us more responsibilities, some, I assume, realized that they might have to refocus their energy elsewhere and cut down on Internet time.

It was discussed before that some companies have tightened up Internet access by employees. As a result, some members might not be able to log on even if they wanted to.

You also get to read and view the same topics over and over again. It doesn’t make sense for me to go to a local board if I know a hobby board like robot japan or rebelscum will break the news first.

Its great that guys like Shin Getter P are starting threads that let members here get to know each better.

Just very hectic these past few months, I've been really swamped with work.

BTW, wavehawk was my old officemate but he migrated to Australia first week of May. Haven't heard from him for some time now. I think my last contact with him was June?

Hehehe... Thanks guys! I was kind of surprise to see my name there. ;D I was a newbie on the old board. Guess I'm a regular here now since i was able to start posting early when the board was still "young". ;D

Anyway, I'm just starting threads to make "conversation" with members and for everyone to enjoy each other's company and experiences. But kudos to sir UJ for lively threads like "Brag or Gripe..." ;D

uhm hehehe i kinda ripped that idea off from Random Toys boards called RANT OR RAVE, home of the spam gang. so credits goes to them for the idea of such a thread. though i do take credit for importing it here at GT boards. at that time kasi parang kulang pa ang GT boards. nauubusan na kasi akong mapagusapan regarding toys. kaya ayun.

i hope the spam gang dont mind me ripping the idea off of RT?

you know who i miss from the old boards? si omniX. first met him on robot japan and he was the one who referred GT to me.

nakakamiss talga ung old GT boards especially since i was a newbie collector back when i joined. and the info i got from the old members were really helpful. but i like the new GT boards as well since we have so many new members who also share info and help out with any inquiries others may have.

just like what cowboyx said, people do move on. kumbaga, noon generation nila sir OMNI, wavehawk, wills, uchiha, seele, etc. now i guess it would be SGP's Chaoz's, uber jam's, Daycot's turn to handle things here and keep em going for the newbies.
