I watched the Pilot episode of Voltes V Evolution and I was awed to hear that the Volt Machiners are programed to the voices of it's individual Pilots. Is this also true in the original dubbing or did they just added this info?

It was shown last Saturday on Hero channel. I just don't know if it's aired everyday or weekly. I don't like the latest dubbing... original english version still rocks!

the script used in voltes v evolution is the same script in the english version. abs-cbn got hold of a copy of the english version and from there they translated it. they spent so much into making big sculptures, advertising, hyping it but when it came to the script they "short-changed" it. I watched the Pilot episode of Voltes V Evolution and I was awed to hear that the Volt Machiners are programed to the voices of it's individual Pilots. Is this also true in the original dubbing or did they just added this info?

I think they just added that (the voice programming ek-ek), though not that sure. I can't recall any mention of that in the english version. All I remember is that they were specially trained to handle the volt machines...

One funny thing though, while watching last Sat and Sun (Mark's mother and butterfly technique, resp), the dialogues of the characters makes me think about how it was said in the english version, and the questions being asked during commercials are considered not that easy (unless you're a fanatic). I thought I knew everything there is to know about the cartoon.

Same sentiments with Mechapunk. Our cable network got no Hero channel... Oh...am just too sad ...... Lucky for me I got a vcd set and a pirated dvd Though... I want to know "sana" what are the questions being asked. Are there any prizes to be given away if one's to answer the questions correctly??

In one SRW game, it was explained that the controls of each Volt (and Battle) Machine is attuned to the brainwaves of their respective pilots. That way the Volt/Battle Machines can't be hijacked.
