What are the problems you guys encountered or think will encounter with Voltes?
Heres what I noticed:
1. Pegs connecting Volt Lander seem to be fragile. After connecting the two parts together I was scared to pull them apart. It felt like putting to much pressure on it would cause the connectors to snap.
JOHN: I think the plastic they used there is the ABS(rubbery/malleable) type not the PVC (the hard/breakable)..
so far I find mine okay when you separate them..or snap teh Landers together.
3. Connector joint which connects Frigate/Voltes legs. This joint looks like two shafts joined together. To much movement can cause a loose thread with these joints. Go easy on the posses.
JOHN: Sorry can you explain further? di ko gets ;D
4. Be careful with Voltes smaller built-in hands . (I realy dont get Bandai's logic with this one aside from them being used for the Voltes Bazooka gimmick. Theyre smaller that the detachable hands.) The pegs which connect he hand to the wrist are quite fragile. Once they snap out of place they are difficult to put back and the pegs tend to loosen up (think gashas when the rubber tends to soften).
JOHN: hhhhmmm I hope they would last long..
5. Antenas on Frigate and Lander look like they can break easilly
JOHN: I thought abouut that...but the Plastic used is again the malleable type not the breakable one...I hope again your assesment will not come true ;D
THE ONLY PROBLEM I have with mine if you call it a problem...are;
FROM 1 out of the 3 ...I have openned only 1 of the 3 so far..
QUALITY CONTROL!!!there are some imperfections like:
1. Panzer's cockpt window has uneven blue color, there is a slight darker coloration on the bottom actually the darker paint is running diagonally...
2. Frigate's "covered" holes -the one on the left upper thigh- you can see the indentations...all four of them..
Although the robot has some imperefections... it doesn't really bother me...
By the way...how do you POP the TOWER back from the back of the frigate?
