 Although I think Erika is a homely sista, and Richard is really a sissy guy, I really like the hot General Laida And would like to fly with her through the sky. So, I wish for our friends at Bandai, Good health in cold and warm weather. But when you do release SOC Daimos, skip the keychain, I'd rather have Laida's feather. ;D <tickle me>

hello everyone, someone has beaten me for a discussion like this, weve been discussing this at the robot-japan forum and it was confirmed that bandai was impressed by the sales of SOC voltes in the philippines and that daimos is being seriously considered because the japanese market wants a SOC daimos too based from polls initiated by a japanese website.
through a so called "inside man" from bandai, they would like the SOC fans to know if ever they would like a SOC daimos HALFWAY? their toy design engineers cant seem to figure a way to transform the truck mode to robot mode and still give the robot super poseability to perform posses for daimos's moves and be true to the anime figure the SOC line is famous for. if the fans can accept a HALFWAY SOC daimos and still support it by going to your local supplier like greatTOYS and let them know your suggestions and solutions, then maybe bandai would produce a special SOC daimos for the filipino fans , something like the original SOC getter robot. we could maybe get a super poseable daimos robot that can be placed inside a tranzer truck with no tranformation. WOULD YOU LIKE THAT? this is the question that prevented bandai from including daimos to their SOC line.
im also very sorry to inform you that bandai do read forums on the internet BUT they only would listen and consider suggestion formally written to them by the local suppliers from japan and official suppliers who carry their SOC line elsewhere. since these are the people who have the real access to people who places their money where their mouth is, no offense to anyone, just being frank, but i think this should not deter anyone from trying, specially since we are the ones that would buy their product. keep it alive guys. keep on posting.
maybe we should talk to malvin regarding this suggestions, rumor has it that he was one of the pioneers for the petition on the SOC voltes through the hong kong bandai network. hmmmmm?

That is a very good point, business wise I mean. But still, Bandai, please do consider Daimos! With all the technology and ingenuity available nowadays, you can think of something that will be both beneficial to the company and to the fans.
And please do include a working double blizzard... *wink wink* ;D

not a bad idea!!! Daimos is really a huge anime way back his era....maybe Bandai is really listening ....just imagine they gave us....i mean sold us Voltes V.....ehehehehe....who knows??? wishes do come true i think!!!

Hehe Since Bandai already broke the "it should always transform just like in the anime" rule with the Getters, I hope they make a Voltes scaled Daimos with lots of poseabilty, doesn't have to transform but having a non-transforming Tranzer truck packed in would be nice. But seriously, before Daimos, give us GX-31X Camp Bigfalcon!! Gold |
