This December Toei will release Voltes Five DVD boxset in Japan. A 7 Disc Boxset in original Japanese Audio. Will retail for 40,000Yen(approximately 20,000PhP)  I doubt they will release a English subbed version, they have already released several Super Robot series on DVD(Grendizer, Mazinger, Gaiking, Combattler) and no word on these being released in Region 1 format. any dvd from Japan would be expensive. if you break it down it would cost about 500 pesos per episode (1000 yen in Japan). wow. i'll pass na lang.  |

yep it's 20,000PhP. DVDs in Japan are very expensive. The Grendizer boxset goes for more, 54,000 Yen I think.

Just a thought. It's a good thing Bandai didn't think of releasing a DVD version limited SOC Voltes V...considering the madness that came with the release of the GX-31...hehehe.

is the dvd already out in the market? any reviews?
i went to tower records and m1 in makati and saw voltes v in vcd format. i'm not a fan of vcd quality movies since the visuals are still a bit grainy so i passed on the set.
are there any plans of releasing voltes v with english dubs or subs?
