Hi there! I'm just curious if there are Steve, Mark, Bert, Little John and Jaime figures available? I'm quite sure I saw those figures on the net some time ago.

There were some unofficial Voltes V team "dolls/action figres" available in the Philippines a long time ago...which I wasn't able to acquire... although I have been informed that they are hallow plastic that feels like shampoo bottles type or just cheap plastic... Although I made one TEAM myself... I just bought action figures from the toys stores and customized them. put/clay for the hair and and I painted them myself... look... users.animanga.com/voltesv/stuff/01.html

Hi. These are my own versions of the Voltes Team members: The standard height is about 4 inches, with Big Bert a little taller, and Little Jon, about 3 inches, and Octo-1 about an inch in diameter. Only Jamie/ Megumi has two versions of her head (one with a helmet, the other without. Yup, they are poseable, except for Octo-1. Here they are with the DX Voltes:

Yup, it would be great if Bandai try put Voltes team to be their next projects, trading figure maybe? it would be sit perpectly with our beloved SOC Voltes V.
But aside of Voltes team, Heinell-sama (prince Zardos) still one of my most favorite and coolest villain ever.

Wow! Those customs are very nice. It must have taken a lot of time, effort and determination to make them.

Yup, it would be great if Bandai try put Voltes team to be their next projects, trading figure maybe? it would be sit perpectly with our beloved SOC Voltes V. Even I wish some expert sculptor would do commercial figs of the Voltes team. 4-inch figs (~ 1/18 scale) are the smallest I can do for customs. Any smaller, I lose out on the detail and articulation. I'd be willing to try if there were any articulated 1 to 2 inch base figures to work with. Otherwise I'll have to carve them, which I'm not prepared to do just yet. But aside of Voltes team, Heinell-sama (prince Zardos) still one of my most favorite and coolest villain ever. Zardoz custom fig? That's an idea. Will keep it in mind for a new project. But then, I'd be forced to make Gen. Laida (? or ito ba yung sa Daimos) - literally sexy and horny. My Jaime/Megumi is a bit on the lean side, perhaps because I worked with a male base figure. I wish someone would make a curvier version, with healthier thighs, like she looked in her "ninja" sessions in the anime. ;D

Wow! Those customs are very nice. It must have taken a lot of time, effort and determination to make them. About one day for each. Not counting the hunting period for the base figures. I worked with sculpey for the heads to give me more control. But I guess the kneaded epoxy could work as well, with no oven needed.

I need to replace a lost part of one of my S.I.C. figures. It is a wee bit part of it's arm armour. What type of putty/epoxy is best to customize it? What I intend to do is make a negative of the lost part by using the spare from its other arm. will clay serve as an excellent mold for it? TIA!

Mods: excuse for OT exchange - just replying. When gunning for detail on one-off custom molds: Use alginate - used for dental impressions. This is a little pricey. Cheaper but also effective is dental plaster of paris - dentures-grade (green-colored, much finer grain so less bubble-risk). Go see your neighborhood dentist (or dental student) if they can spare some supplies. In my limited experience, clay expands a bit when fired, especially when u overcook it (as I always do using an oven toaster). You will lose detail. Same goes for epoxy. It tends to run. The kneaded epoxy might work better - watch out for air bubbles though.

Thank you for the excellent advice and yes, mods, I beg your pardon for going OT, just couldn't wait for an answer through another thread. ;-) I will check some med supplies nearby for alginate and other similar material. dont want to spend to much on something so small. Again thank you!! MP

I dont know if there are others like this set. I dont know who made them or from which country they came from. They are not fabricated from other figures. I guess Im very lucky to have them. I've been looking for Voltes V pilot figures for a long time and now I have them. hope you would appreciate them guys coz for now, I can say is that they are my most precious find upto date. Hehehe! Take care and GOD bless. Jhune
