An official site opened for Figma, a collaborative project between maker Max Factory and sculptor / technician Asai “APSY” Masaki. Asai is famous for his work on fixed-pose and action figures alike, especially for his dynamic natural poses and inconspiuous points of articulation, and this looks like Max’s answer to projects such as Kaiyodo’s Revoltech, Konami’s Busou Shinki and Atelier Sai’s Duel Maid series. It will stand or fall based on the strength of its lineup, which is currently listed at three items; the first two are characters from the early 80’s manga and anime Puraresu Sanshirou, the progatonist’s fighting robot Juoumaru and the presumed love interest’s robot Sakura-hime. Hey check this out... On my first immpression I thought it was an Microman series but it turns out to be the new FIGMA project by Max factory. Its 13 cm tall and still no word about the release date and its price nor preorder check out the articulation of these babies ;D Figma version of Yuki Nagato Article Official site: www.figma.jp/index.html

Oh, I'm SO sold into this line. Awesome anime sculpt PLUS awesome articulation? It's an anime action figure collector's dream >B3 And I'm going to be sold even more if it had a certain blue-haired android as well *coughKOSMOScough* And btw...one of Yuki's pics looks like as if she was stabbed in the back or something...just an observation ; Also...one thing I noticed after collecting several figures with skirts...I think that using cloth as a skirt on on a fig that small would be better as compared to soft rubber...usually soft rubber constricts articulation with a capital C.

Well, Kaiyodo seems to be winning at the moment. The figure shown was not only bigger, the joints were less visible too. Granted, bigger size means bigger price, but yeah...SO WHAT? However, Maxfactory's sculpt is able to make the figure's arms go up 90 degrees to the side...something Kaiyodo's sculpt can't do it seems. EDIT: Heh, I just remembered this one we saw in the wonderfest a few months back: ga.sbcr.jp/g-toys/wonfes07win/33/32.htmlLooks similar to Kaiyodo's, only the new one shown is better than this one, since here the ball joint for the hips is HUEG, while the new one is cleverly hidden.

It seems the Haruhi fig of Max Factory is slated for January 31 of 2008: www.figma.jp/products/yusha_haruhi.htmlLong wait, but that 10,290 yen price seems a bit steep for something 13 cm tall. Granted, it comes with a game. The package itself comes with the game itself, the figure, a sword, a SOS Dan armband, a 'movable' stand(as you can see in the third pic), an extra head(the first head has Haruhi's mouth closed, the second has her big mouth opened), and 5 set of hands...I'm not sure if it means 5 hand pieces or 5 PAIRS of hands I wonder if they're gonna sell a seperate copy of the figure only?

testrunThat figure will include the upcomming game ... Nevertheless your probably right, its too pricy ;'( Anyway I've read your post on the revoltech thread, looking forward on your custom KOSMOS your really into her ain't ya . 15cm yup its taller than we expect. You should make all her variant like the prototype to ver.4(also to consider her swimsuit outfit NYAHA!!!) and also you should make her rival T-elos HAHAHAHAY!!! Check this out bro ;D www.amiami.com/shop/?vgForm=ProductInfo&sku=GDS-6655&template=review.html

Your really into her ain't ya . Heh, let's just say I'm a fanboy...let's put it at that ;D You should make all her variant like the prototype to ver.4(also to consider her swimsuit outfit NYAHA!!!) and also you should make her rival T-elos HAHAHAHAY!!! As long as that figure comes here, and as long I have enough budget to do so, why not? But I WILL buy, at the very least, one and customize it...hopefully they release blank flesh-colored bodies to make the task simpler. Either that or I buy that Rei and sand the edges off. RAWR <3 Does GT have them already or something? I keep seeing them on the internet, and on eBay. That Shion head looks RIPE for customizing, heh. >=3 As for the 4 KOS-MOS'es...HELLO NEW CABINET.
