I didn't know they die

I didn't tought that GIJoe would never die just like in the cartoon series. Is it just mainly luck that they survive every large battle when they face Cobra.

By the way I haven't seen any new GIJoe cartoon series that was airing on any network anymore what happened to them? Its been a long time now. The last time I saw GIJOe was Cobra Commander was wearing a different mask like ala Dart Vader not with the old fashion mask that he was wearing on the first GIJoe series.

that was the Gi joe 1990 series. its the one that CC wore the version 3 costume. Anyway, if you want the list of joes that died, here are some of them. crank-case, thunder, Dr mindbender, Chuckles and Quick kick.
