I like mini figs. I have small amounts of Minimates, kubricks and lego.
[B) "what figs did you buy?"

haven't had the chance to take photos of my minimates yet. tried to post some pics i stole....err...borrowed on the web but my IE died. Maybe somebody is trying to tell me something. anyway, you can try to look for minimates at art asylum. www.artasylum.com/index.htmlCurrently DC minimates are on sale at toy kingdom, check it out. [B) "minimates definitely cheaper than kubricks"

pricy though... it would be neat if they released another batch of those BTR Transformers with minimate versions of Spike.

try this site. www.millionaireplayboy.com/toys/minimates4_5.phpI think it is indeed a little pricey. I tend to pick and choose what i buy. would be super pricey to try to complete these. Too many, too expensive. [B) "especially the rare ones"

Joel (koji) bought for me series 1 and 2 of Lord of the Rings minimates. It was on sale (50% off) at CATS.
I like these figs since they made the key characters bigger (kubrick sized) and the smaller figs (frodo, gimli, gollum, etc) using the old mini mate size.
[B) "will post pics soon, i need to buy a card reader"

after getting series 1 and 2, i was initially thinking about selling the 4 pack TRU exclusives that i bought in NY. Then yesterday, while taking pictures, i realized that the gollum fig in the TRU 4 pack has the smeagol (sp) face.
Also, was lucky to get blue twilight frodo in the other pack.
[B) "i bought an elven warrior fig for 100pesos at a store in festival, it might be a knockoff, don't see it on the official list of figs"

hehe, kubricks are more like lego figs, less articulation. Quality is very good though, far better quality than minimates, which is probably why they are far more expensive as well. sample kubrick figure, i have this set, it's from TRIGUN. (image from trigun.it) [B) "when kubricks first came out, it was just a lousy lego fig imitation, medicom has worked hard to get licenses"
