Well, not exactly bootlegs, that's more like China Factory Backdoor units perhaps? Bootlegs tend to look like very cheap imitations (wrong paint, wrong packaging and such) China Backdoor units come from factories that can continue to produce the figure as long as the mother company doesn't claim the original design molds. I'm thinking this is what happened to Cap and the Hulkbuster Ironman. While they might not be "officially licensed" production runs, they can be generally considered on par with the official release in terms of quality, since the toy did come from the same production factory using the same kinds of plastic and materials. For more on Android human torch: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Human_Torch_(android)I think you can use the original ML2 Torch without the Fantastic Four Logo variant for this guy. Then get the Fantastic Four 2 :Rise of the Silver Surfer Human Torch 5 inch scale to be his kid sidekick "Toro". Gold

Well... it seems Marvel Legends is still alive after all. -Hasbro will be showing 16-18 prototypes at SDCC for release in 2010. -The 3 two-packs that were first shown at last years comic-con will be hitting in late August at the latest, still distributed by Diamond and TRU. -They hinted at a new Deadpool figure would be revealed at comic-con, as well as an Inhuman to accompany Blackbolt. -No BAFs are coming out next year. -They will be launching a fan poll for new Marvel Legend figures at comic-con , the top 3 will be split across 3 new two-packs, with Hasbro choosing the partners. These will most likely come out this time next year. -NO RETAIL EXCLUSIVES NEXT YEAR!!! -They\'re still working out packaging, as in singles/two-packs for the other assortments. It seemed to me they\'re leaning towards two-packs for now still. - Slide images of a X-Force Warpath, Madrox The Multiple Man and Lady Bullseye figure were shown. marvelousnews.com/index.php?catid=23&it.....emid=12275 Gold

Marvel Legends Wave 2 and other ML1 updates marvelousnews.com/index.php?catid=23&itemid=14288- Marvel Legends 1 new packaging designed by Ed McGuinnes. Commander Rogers has a electric Shield Variant and Iron Man has Stealth variant. Ghost Rider Variant will be yellow and orange for wave 1.Mainline characters like Iron Man & Thor in wave one will not have BAF pieces[/color] so collectors who don't want to buy these characters again will not need to in order to complete their BAF. - Wave 2 Lineup Bucky Cap Wrecking Crew (Running Changes will include Thunderball to Piledriver) -Daken (Logan's Son in Dark Avengers costume and a removable cowl) - Madame Mask/Madame Hydra -Drax -Big Time Spider-Man (Black & Green) Anckle Rockers and a re-desinged hips on a horzontial axis. -Wave 2 BAF is Armin Zola. -SRP is $14.99 I guess this means that Hasbro will be rolling out a "2.0" case for Wave 2, which will have Piledriver and Madame Hydra version later in 2012, along with "variant" BAF pieces to build "Red Skull in Zola's body" Zola (Red Skull is gone and his "spirit" is now in Arim Zola's body in a recent Captain America arc). marvelousnews.com/index.php?catid=23&itemid=14290i.marvelousnews.com/g/index.php?mode=album&album=2011_San_Diego_Comic_Con%2FHasbro%2FHasbro_Panel%2F&start=40Plus orange Fin Fang Foom? i.marvelousnews.com/g/index.php?mode=album&album=2011_San_Diego_Comic_Con%2FHasbro%2FHasbro_Panel%2F&start=20Hmm... anyone else think it's strange that First ML disappears, DCUC pops up, now that ML's coming back, DCUC is going away (sort of.. DCUC Wave 20 is the last wave to be sold at retail). Gold
