I doubt we'll be getting more vehicles soon, remember, the line is only covered up until maybe this year. Next year the line will be on semi-hiatus for the Joe Movie. Similar to the TF movie last year where every TF line just halted and Hasbro went full blast with only movie merchandise. Hasbro did say that they were still rolling out "classic" Joe characters but done in "Movie style" whatever that means but I'm not too hopeful it'll be consistent with the 25th Anniversary "Toon look". I think the Zartan is from Wave 11. Hehe Hasbro acquired the rights to MASK a looooong time ago, when they "absorbed" Kenner Toys. I guess it's about time they did something with the characters.  More new Gijoe stuff from SDCC 2008. Movie DVD pack? wow, a water mocassin! now that is great news!  i've always wanted this vehicle. although it might work better with the original copperhead that's available in the two-pack. all that's missing now is the killer whale... |

Which is technically right since the line's already on its "26th Anniversary" already. According to the link we'll be getting 3 more waves in 2009 before they switch over to the Movie figures, and the GIjoe Resolute series will be in scale with the "Gijoe Vs. Cobra" series. Plus the "Swamp Skier" Zartan won't have the color change feature. Gold |

I managed to pick up Joe DVD boxset one (MASS device) and the bad news is, while the MASS console does come with the element containers, they're empty! So picking up the wave 8 Cobra Commander with red crystals may be a good idea.
BTW, the elements that come with the cobra trooper in this DVD pack aren't transferrable to the empty tubes.

Not yet out locally, I had to settle for getting them at Skybucks comics over at Robinson's Galleria, around 1800 each box. They sold out fast though.
