thanks to all of you - Mazingaa Zetto, bruticus matttracker - why are you re-collecting, you sold your first set of 25th anniv figs? @ mojacko - not showing off  just wanted to share with you guys my 25th anniv collection ;D got the 5-packs and singles from another toyshop in GH, gold and silver PDDs from Gtoys @ kid - answer above Gold and Silver PDDs set are going for around USD100 on ebay right now. Still saw a silver PDD for P2450 at Gtoys Makati yesterday |

I started with the 8" Sigma Six line then after seeing the re-birth of the GI Joes, I was succumbed to the "Bruticus side", ha ha ha! ;D I saw an AFA graded Pimp Daddy Destro selling for $16,000. Grabe. |

mwahahahahaha ;D, my kung-fu is very strong, i see.  kidding aside, it's good to see former gi joe collectors returning to the fold. when i started posting on the GT boards, i think i was the only one who was really into collecting joes. now, two years later, there is more interest in gi joe collecting. may our tribe increase, my comrades! and $16,000 for an afa-graded joe...hmmm...i don't think i'm crazy enough to shell out that much for a joe, no matter how rare it is. and you're right, mireydom, i think what matt saw was the original pimp daddy. an afa 85 sdcc gold pimp daddy (from 25th anniv. line) is selling on ebay now for about $185. still expensive if you ask me. |

my comrades, here are the photos of the carded wave 2 and 3 joes (minus cobra trooper and shipwreck) Beachhead (notice that his crossbow is removeable from the backpack - great bonus! i also love his rifle)  Firefly - great detail on the backpack  Cobra Red Ninja  Zartan - apparently, Hasbro answered MZ's wish - the figure's face changes color!  Sgt. Stalker - has two guns (nice!), but is still stabilo-colored   Serpentor, the Cobra Emperor sans Air Chariot  Lady Jaye - nice, but I wish they sculpter her without the cap, just like in the vintage cartoons  Buzzer - I'm still wondering why he was the first Dreadnok to be released.   there you have it, folks! hope these images can keep us company until the actual figures get released. |

IIRC, in the old GT boardz there is a thread specifically for G.I. JOE collectors..... back then I only knew two collector's who collect carded or AFA graded G.I. JOE figures.... Checkmate and Bruticus..... those two were my idols! mojacko: I'm not sure, but in the cartoon "Mojacko" series.... diba he can travel from different time naman..... heheheh..... bruticus: As always, fantastic hauls and collectionz!!! |

@ MZ: no problem, bro. sana nga nasa akin na yung wave 2 and 3 that i pre-ordered. and thanks for your very kind words. all of us have "specialty" collections. i have my joes, and you have an awesome tf commemorative collection (in shrink-wrap pa nga!) @ moja: sayang, if you could travel back in time, can you buy me a MISB terror drome, USS flagg aircraft carrier, defiant space shuttle and mobile command center at 1985 prices? hehehe ;D @ checkmate: yup, zartan retains his cool color-change gimmick. thank goodness! @ papabear: second that motion...drool...  |

thanks to TNI, we have a pic of the back of zartan's card. aside from giving us a sneak peek into his file card, the thumbnails above the file card give us a silhouette preview of the Joes (and Cobra minions) who will be released in wave 4:  from L to R: 1. Crimson Guard (yessssss! @ checkmate, here's one answer to our prayers) 2. Destro (again. I wonder what gimmick this edition has) 3. Snow Job (another resounding yessssss!) 4. Snake Eyes version 1 (though this is another reissue, I'd be happy to have a v1 Snake Eyes ona single card so I can play with the one that came in the 5-pack and keep this one in the card.) 5. Flash ( the Laser Rifle Trooper that came before Sci-Fi and is, in my book, another uber-cool choice) |
