Popy is what "Bandai" was called in the old days. Nowadays when one says Popy, one automatically refers to the "Vintage" Japan diecast toys of the 1970s. Usually, ebay sellers plug in the word "Popy" just to get their items to pop up when you search for the vintage diecast toys with the ebay search engine. It's like if your selling a Vintage Daimos only, one usually puts on the title: "For sale, Vintage Daimos, NOT Voltes"... mainly because if you type "Voltes" into the search the item will appear on the list.. As for the Black wing Getter... wellllll.. I can't say I really liked it, mostly because the "flip wings" spring-release gimmick on his back can't work. The spring-release gimmick was only intended for the "regular" release(you know, the one with the puny wings). The wings look menacing though, but in my opinion the "closed wing" Shin Getter black version looks much better(mainly due to the new silverpainted parts for contrast.. the original looked too dull being only "all black") Both "blacks" have the glow in the dark parts and both have the ax and scythe. Thanks for the info Gold! Yeah, the open wings look menacing to me that's why I chose that over the closed wing. Well, I didn't know that there are some issues on the wings. I also bought the closed wing though, but the red one. Again, thanks!
