SOC GX-31 VOLTES V QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS (REVISED):
Q: When will GX-31 Voltes V be released?
A: Bandai Japan announces a May 20 release date. We should have 1st batch of stocks in by May 22-23. The following batches will arrive in a few days after the initial release.
Q: Will there be extra stocks for customers who have not made deposits?
A: Yes, there will be extra stocks for those who did not make deposit but they will be on a first come first serve basis.
Q: What is the HK Limited Item?
A: The HK Limited Item is a metal keychain of Voltes V
Q: which version will I get? The HK Limited or Regular Version?
A: Customers has a choice of getting either versions, please be noted that the HK Limited version will cost extra.
Q: What is the difference of the HK Limited agaisnt the Regular Version?
A: The toy itself is exactly the same from one version to another, the only difference is the extra keychain packed seperately with the toy.
Q: I have reservation, am i guaranteed 1 pc?
A: Yes, all customers who made reservations are guaranteed 1 piece of SOC GX-31 Voltes V and can claim thier item within 1 month after release (May 22 - June 22).
Q: Can we pay by credit card and how much?
A: We will have a different price for Credit Card purchases, price if paid by Credit Card will be 9000 pesos. Credit Card payments VISA, MC, AMEX, JCB, Diners are accepted for Greattoys.net Greenhills and Makati branches. Credit Card installment payments are also accepted for Equitable card holders.
Q: What is the limited version of SOC GX-31 Voltes V?
A: Our suppliers informed us that SOC GX-31 V5 limited version will include a black Combattler V MSIA style figure, same with the SOC GX-01R Mazinger Z released a few years ago.
Q: Will there be a R (renewal) version? a Black version?
A: Bandai has only made R (renewal) versions of any recent SOCs. R versions are only for the older SOC units like Mazinger, Great Mazinger, Gaiking which has design problems. Bandai has perfected their engineering skills and a SOC V5 GX-31R is very unlikely. Bandai has stopped making Black versions, thier last release was GX-10B Bossborot.
Q: Will there be a big falcon base?
A: Bandai has not made anymore bases for any SOC toy since GX-01X Base.
Q: How big is it? Is it made of diecast metal? Is it as good as the vintage heavy diecast 12" Voltes V?
A: Base on photo, it should stand 9+ inches tall, diecast content is around 70% of the whole toy. The toy maybe smaller but the detail, articulation and scale is much better!
Q: Why isn't SOC GX-31 Voltes V released in 12" size like the vintage Voltes V?
A: Bandai has to keep SOC GX-31 Voltes V at a reasonable price for everyone, make the toy too big, it would be too expensive and out of reach for majority of toy enthusiast.
