that item is not a bootleg.. its a prototype of somesort stolen from Hasbro / Takara factory.. it was sold 2-3 months before the final product was released back in late 2003..

Sometimes i see it on ebay selling for US$200+

btw, the parts are diecast, just unpainted as what i know..

Thanks for that info Malvs. I must admit, I was among those that were hoping that there was a good quality bootleg out there.

For the price of the MP, one is constrained to play with it continuously and wear it out. It would have been nice to have a decent bootleg to customize and ravage!

Oh well, I'm sure that at some point, some entrepreneurial bunch of people will issue a bootleg.

Actually naisip ko ano kaya kung mag-labas JUST TOYS nito... para may pang-sama sila sa trailer nila... :-P

Pero hope ko pa rin na magrelease ang Takara (Tomy-Takara) ng plastic version ng MP-01 (Price reduced of course ;D) kahit smaller.
