Was in Singapore last week and saw this in one of the stores: It's made out of plastic, no visible die-cast parts. SGP

that item is not a bootleg.. its a prototype of somesort stolen from Hasbro / Takara factory.. it was sold 2-3 months before the final product was released back in late 2003.. Sometimes i see it on ebay selling for US$200+ btw, the parts are diecast, just unpainted as what i know.. you can see a similar item in the robot-japan review on the link below.. www.robot-japan.com/pages/Optimus-Prime-Masterpiece.htmPhoto taken from www.robot-japan.com

For the price of the MP, one is constrained to play with it continuously and wear it out. It would have been nice to have a decent bootleg to customize and ravage! Oh well, I'm sure that at some point, some entrepreneurial bunch of people will issue a bootleg. Thanks again, Garvy

Kung magka-reissue man, I would still prefer it to have die cast.
